Chapter 9

'Now that I think about it.. My eyes are now the same colour as Na-kun's were. Too bad his changed too, it would be great if we had matching eyes. It would really look like we were twins.' Tsuna thought to himself, in his now separate room.

Tsuna and Natsu had to have their own separate rooms because they were growing boys and needed space.

He stared at his bare hands,' I feel weird. Like something is sucking me in... But where?' Tsuna put a hand on one of his eyes and continued to stare at the other,' I have nothing against the colour blue and all, but if I were to choose my own eye colour, I'd rather have it orange. I like the colour orange after all.'

Orange made him feel warm.

Blue made him feel cold.

Green made him feel lost.

'I wonder who that man was from before. I don't like him. He's creepy.' Tsuna thought with a shiver.

He hugged the plush rabbit tighter around his arms," A-Rabbit [1].. I'm scared but confused. I don't know what to do. Please tell me."

The rabbit remained silent. It's red eyes not giving any answers.

Tsuna closed his eyes, thinking. However, because he closed his eyes, he hadn't seen a flash of orange surrounding the plush rabbit then suddenly disappeared, leaving the plush back to normal, it's eyes however, looked alive.

"You don't have to worry about anything."

Tsuna stared, wide eyed at the talking plush toy. Did he hear correctly!?

"H-huh..?" He stuttered, pathetically.

The toy's bead eyes gleamed, almost like it was smiling at him," I said, you don't have to worry about anything."

Tsuna blinked," H-how.. How a-are you able to t-talk, A-Rabbit?" He couldn't help but to stutter again.

The toy thought about this for a few seconds before answering," Because you wanted me to." It was a simple answer, really.

Tsuna's eyes gleamed in a childish way," Can others hear you too?" He questioned.

The plush toy would have smirked if it could," Nope. Only you can hear me." It answered.

"Whats your purpose, A-Rabbit?"

"To make you happy, of course! Im your hero!"

"A plush toy is my hero?"

"Yup!"

"I think I've gone insane."

"Maybe. If you think so, believe it then, but I truly am here to make you happy and to protect you."

Tsuna smiled," Okay then. Thank you, A-Rabbit." He paused, and decided to ask the rabbit about one of the things that were on his mind a lot lately," A-Rabbit, do you know who that creepy man is?"

The plush toy was silent, its eyes dimming slightly and replied, sadly," I do not know. Sorry, even though I promised to protect you, I do not know who that man is. But if you ever need my help, please don't hesitate to ask!"

Tsuna was happy, very happy, even if the plush toy didnt know who the man was," Its okay! Im just happy I've got a friend to talk to! Na-kun has been a bit distant lately... Ne, A-Rabbit. How come you can only talk now?" He asked, tilting his head slightly.

A-Rabbit hummed and thought deeply," I was originally your flame!" It answered honestly, thinking that it was no use lying to the boy.
