Have you ever seen a perfect guy? Me neither, I'm Alison, my friends call me Ali, I live in Arizona, that dry, searing hot place, also mistaken for the desert. I'm 15, turning 16 on July 4. I'm searching for the perfect guy.
PART ONE
Ali's POV
"Ali, come down and eat your breakfast, before I feed it to the dogs," That's Rachel, my stepmother, it's a long story. I quickly slipped on a thin torquise tank top and a cozy hoodie around my shoulders, I stepped into my skinny sweats and stomped down the stairway. I can already smell the heavenly scent of crispy bacon, lightly scrambled eggs and crunchy toast. I sat down, and started spreading the creamy, sweet strawberry jam evenly to my toast. "So, Ali, what's up?" I roll my eyes at Rachel's poor attempt at her gangster impression. "nothing much, you?" I mumbled. "Well, your fathers great, you know.. at work" She smirked, I lightly scoffed, She's such a weirdo.
I finish off my breakfast with a gulp of orange juice, grab my lunch, "Bye Rachel!" I waved, and I headed out the door.
"Hey Ali," A familiar voice called me, "hey" It was ryan, my friend, he took me to school daily by his scooter, I turned around, his helmet wrapped around his hands, his chestnut brown hair ruffled and messy because of his helmet, his rosy lips in a smile. He handed me my spcial helmet, a pink and white stripes and a bright white star on it, I easily slipped it on, the motorcycle engline blared on, "Let's go!" Ryan said cheerfully.
I stepped off the motorcycle, handed my helmet back to Ryan, and was welcomed by 3 girls, my 3 best girls, Analea, the curly haired one with thick eyeliner on, Lilyan, the blonde haired one with a few blue bits here and there, and with green eyes, and Ruby, the brunette with ruby red lips. "HAYY GURLFRIENDDDDD!" Lilyan screamed, I was just back from Pheonix, a long car ride fro and back. "Hey Lilly, how's chris?" Chris was lilyan's boyfriend, he's okay, not my type, but okay. lilyan's cheeks flushed a rosy pink color, she gently tucked some of her gorgeous blonde hair behind her hair, "He's AMAZING, he just got in the football team! AND he's the captain!" her lips turned into a huge smile. I turned to Analea, "Hey annie, how's the singing auditions going?" Annie was auditioning for the school play, and she's been talking about it since FOREVER. "It's alright, it turns out that I was one of the only people who auditioned so.. yeah..." Her voice slowly faded away "But I still got in!" everyone's faces lit up, congratulating Annie. "So, Ruby.... how's... stuff?" i asked, kinda awkward, because Ruby's parents just gone through a divorce. "I-It's good, Y-yeah, how are you?" her voice was hard and monotoned, I understand.
We walked to the school hall together to our first class, English, one of my favorite subjects ever! as we stepped into our seats, I recieved a psst. from Lily. "pssst." "PPPSSSSTTT. ALI!" she hissed, "what?" I hissed back, she jerked her head towards the door, her hair loosened from her bun, my eyes wandered around the room, then I saw it, this amazingly cute guy, with messy dark brown hair, a hoodie, and sweats, he walked to the teacher, Ms. Sammy, and asked something, I could't make out what he was saying, it was too quiet.
"Attention class, we have a new student" ms. Sammy announced, asking the class to turn their heads towards her. "His Name matthew holmers, he would be in our class now, Matthew, would you like to introduce yourself?" She asked, facing him now. "Uhh... sure, Hey, I'm Matt, I like skating, Surfing and writing, I also like art a lot, and uhh, I would I like to know you more." His eyes flashed at mine for a second, his glossy, dark hazel eyes, and flashed a cheeky grin towards the class. "Just take a seat next to Dillan."
Dillan is not nice. He's not a saint. He's a bully. A douche. A jock. He gets in fights, crime, and he's not the brightest kid at school. The worst thing that could happen is Matt getting around the wrong crowd. All our heads turned as Matt shuffled towards the back desk with Dillan chewing on bubble gum. Dillan glares at Matt's cheerful face, he mumbled something to Matt, and Matt simply shrugged and sat down next to him. The rest of the lesson zoomed away...
