A/N: Sorry for the long wait! I've been super busy!

Gwen's POV
(The next day)
I looked at myself in the mirror after getting dressed for my date with Peter.
I wore dark denims, a white t-shirt with a light pink pea coat and brown booties. My hair was curled and I had a subtle makeup look.
I lightly moved light pink gloss across my lips. I gently rubbed them together so that it would be even on both lips.
I placed it in my purse before putting the strap around my body. I grabbed my phone off my bed and headed downstairs.

I stood outside on Broadway waiting for Peter. I looked around seeing a bunch of people walk by or walking into a store.
A few minutes passed and Peter still wasn't here. I looked at my phone making sure I wasn't early but it seemed to be that he was late.
My eyes then met his and I smiled. He pushed threw the crowd until he made it over to me.
"You look beautiful" he smiled.
"Thanks" I blushed.
We walked around for a bit talking about random things, until we made it to an ice cream stand.
"Do you want one" he asked.
"Sure" I smiled.
I offered to pay for my own, but he insisted on paying so I didn't argue.
He handed me my ice cream and we started walking again.
"I uh got a call earlier today from Oxford saying that I have an interview" I said nervously.
"Gwen that's amazing" he said while hugging me.
"You're not upset? I mean I might be going to school in England and you're here"
"Gwen why would I be upset this is what you wanted isn't it" he smiled.
"We'll figure out the long distance relationship later"
I smiled but if quickly faded. I kinda hopped that he was going to be sad. It would give me a reason not to go, but I guess he doesn't care enough about me to want me to stay in the same country.
I shook off the sad feeling, and we continued walking.
We made our way closer to time square, when we heard screaming.
A look of horror fell on my face when I saw the giant lizard. I looked over at Peter but he seemed to be not there.
I then looked up to see SpiderMan swinging through the air.
Police were trying to keep everyone away as the lizard got angrier when he saw SpiderMan.
A burning feeling in my chest got worse and worse as they fought. I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost him.
The lizard either got hurt or got scared by something because he took off running into the dark.
