______ and Asuna were friends in the game, but her and Kirito were friends out of it.
They knew that they were in the game, but they never could find each other. They usually just barely missed each other, until...
"______! I want you to meet my boyfriend!" Asuna called out, then grabbed her wrist.
"Hey!" She let herself be dragged.
Right when she saw him, she froze, a shocked expression on her face. He looked towards her, her avatar looking just like her.
"______?" Kirito murmured. She nodded and he hugged her tightly.
"Do you two have a background?" Asuna asked, then raised her eyebrows.
"No... we are just old friends..." Kirito broke into a smile.
After a few months Asuna staryed to get jealous. A yandere jealous. And she would do anything to keep Kirito all to herself.
"_____?" Kirito asked, one starry night.
"Hmm?"
"Does Asuna seem... off to you?"
"Yeah..." she nodded a little.
"Kirito! ______!" Asuna ran up to them. "Hurry! Klien is in trouble!" Kirito and her stood up, then grabbed their weapons. "Laughing Coffin... follow me!"
They followed her, to where the guild was. They joined in when they found an opening to.
______ parried a strike away from Asuna, then got back-to-back with her.
Asuna jutted her foot out, seen by Kirito only. It tripped _____, and she fell backwards, making an opening for one of the members of Laughing Coffin to strike.
______ felt a sword go into her stomach, making her go dizzy and pass out from blood loss.
Kirito could do nothing but watch as his best friend was taken away.
BWA HA HA.
SORRY.
______ woke up, then felt chains on her srms and legs. She yanked at them, trying to get them to give way.
"That won't work, especially in your state." ______ heard a voice fron the shadows.
It gets a bit... morbid here. I got this idea from an ancient Aztec sacrifice ritual I watched a video on in social studies.
Then, she felt a pain in her stomach. She cried out in pain, then heard the jeers of a crowd around her.
She felt a hand go in the hole they tore in her stomach, it reaching up and grabbing for her heart. She felt them grab it before losing consciousness. She uttered a few words, knowing she would never wake again.
The person held up her still beating heart and the crowd cheered. They grinned triumphantly as it started to disappear. They then undid the chains and took ______ outside of the old, rickety shack, where they knew her allies would see.
Kirito had been searching non stop for her. His old friend, his possible lover. He was angry at Asuna for what she had done. He stopped dead in his tracks when he heard Asuna yell that they found her.
He took off at a sprint to where they found her, then skidded to a stop. He knelt beside her already pixellating body. He held it in his arms, tears running down his vheeks and on to her clothes.
"You were the only one... who sas there... and they took you from me..." He choked out. "I'm going to... take something... from them..."
He grabbed a match and set the place on fire. He picked up her almost gone body and kissed her forehead. "I love you... I always have..."

The shadows move silently
Across the moons' surface
The ghosts of the past still haunt
As if they're still there
Silent, fast
The moon looked upon the past
Serving as a reminder
