Chapter Five- Peace tea

Maggie's pov

I finished setting up my room. Kyle called me. "Hello." I say. "Hey. Ok so am I still coming over to stay the night?" Kyle asked. Shit I didn't tell him about how I had to move out. "Kyle I don't live with my Dad anymore. He kicked me out." I say. It was silent for a few minutes. "Where are you than?" He asked. "My sisters house. I'm living with her for right now." I say. "Ok give me her address I already bought peace teas and chips and I have my Xbox and I brought clothes and my Mom isn't excepting me home tonight." Kyle said.

"Umm hold on. I'll ask my sister, I don't think she'll want strangers coming over." I laugh. I stand up and go into the kitchen were Jenna was cooking. "Hey Jen can Kyle come over I forgot he was supposed to be staying a night or a couple. Cause his parents are going on a trip tomorrow?"I ask. She shrugged. "I guess but if he makes a mess you have to clean it up." Jenna says. I nodded and put my phone up to my ear. "You can come over. Her address is 4330 laker avenue." I say than hang up.

"Aunt Maggie, Hailey wants to know if you wanna play Mario cart with us." Justine asked. I guess Kyle will play with us. "Sure." I say. Justine grabbed my wrist and dragged me upstairs. I grabbed a controller and I pick Dry bones to play. I start driving. Before I knew it I was in second. I was letting Hailey in front of me. Justine was in fifth-teen place so there was no hope for her. Every time Hailey would slip on a banana I'd slow down and hit a banana too.

"Maggie your friend is here." Jenna yelled. We finish this race then I go downstairs. "Hey Kyle." I say. I hug him than take one of the Walmart bags. I grab his hand and we go to the play room. "Look guy's it's my friend Kyle he's going to play some Mario kart with us."

Kyle set his Xbox on the table and grabbed a controller. "I suck at Mario Kart so you guys will probably beat me." Kyle said. Justine picked the place we're racing in now. It was Coconut mall. Kyle looked at me. "Look at the screen or you'll do worse than Mario. And Mario sucks." I said.
