"Come on feet, don't fail me now." I was running as fast I could. Avoiding people on the way and dodging whatever came my way. It was like a trial run or something. I finally made it to the park, out of breath and panting. "Finally made it." Then suddenly, someone came up next to me, out of breath as well. It was that kid who told me I'm his long lost sister. I looked at him puzzled, "Kid, what're doing here?" I asked, "I got the same message as you." He responded. "That absurd, you couldn't've, you're not my long lost brother." "Then how did I get the same message as you? Huh? I've told you this over and over that I'm your long lost brother." I started laughing in annoyance. "I'm getting really sick of this. When are you gonna stop playing these tricks?" I asked, "he's not playing tricks." We stood there in shock. In our visions, a man with great strength had approached and a woman with great beauty standing right beside him. Dressed in body suits of silver and blue and their hairs flowing with such grace and a blue tint on the side. It's like they were perfect. "He is telling the truth." Dad said with a stern voice I looked down at my so called "little brother" with great shock and feeling a bit guilty for the way I treated him. But I still didn't believe them for some reason. "There's no time to waste, we have a lot of explaining to do." We looked at each other, a bit puzzled on what's going on. "Let's start with you." Dad look at me. "When you were born, the kingdom was in great awe, they were happy like usual. And we named you Adelaide because knowing at birth, you were a carer, of anything and anyone. Your nobility is what Blornot will need." Then things got serious, "then about a week later, Fiera sent some men to attack us. Attack our building and our kingdom, trying to ruin everything and everyone. The lightening guardians tried all they could but we had to step in. As the battle was going on, we knew it wasn't safe for you. We were panicking and the only thing we could do was get you to safety. So we got on the ship and we flew off but one of the Fiera bastards shot one of the turbine engines and we landed on Earth with a bang, literally. Our ship was destroyed and we had to walk for days, trying to find someone in our family to take care of you. We tried your godfather but he was in Boston at the time and Boston was just too far, we couldn't risk it. So we went to my parents house where they were retired in this big grassy field. We had to stay until we fixed the ship and when we did, we had to leave right away. We should've kissed you goodbye but you lost your memory and we didn't want to risk that either. So in order to keep you safe, I asked Rhea's father to start training Rhea in becoming a guardian so that way, you'll be safe." "And by the way, her name is Raylene." Mom added. Then dad turned to my supposed "long lost brother" to tell him the truth. "And Cullin--" "wait, your name is Cullin?" I asked, "yeah." I shrugged. "Anyways, when your mother was pregnant with you, we made a plan to send you to Earth like we sent Adelaide. We thought you'd be safe her on Earth. But we sent you to the wrong person, we wanted you to be with Adelaide but instead, you were found by another couple. We wanted you to grow up with Adelaide and we're so sorry. But when we found out you moved her to Knoxville when you were twelve, we had hope. We sent you that letter and we were the ones that told you about Adelaide. I'm glad you went to go find her." We were a bit angry but more so, upset. "We just wanted you two to be safe. It was best to come here than be stuck in that mess." We didn't respond. "We should've told you the truth long ago but you two were so young." Mom said. "I can't believe this." "Yeah, I can't believe you would leave us like that!" Cullin shouted. "Founding out what you did has put nothing but misery on me. Possibly on Cullin!" I shouted. "I know, you have a fragile heart--" Cullin looked at me, "you have a fragile heart?" "Emotion wise. Everybody says that to me." "That sucks." He half-smiled. "I'm bipolar." I looked at him in shock. "You do?" I asked, "it's not too bad though, not as bad as other people's." He sunk his head. Suddenly, I fell to my knees in pain. "What's wrong?!" He asked all concerning and in panic, but he fell down as well. "Cullin!" I shouted in agony. The two adults looked at each other, "it's starting." We looked up, "what's starting?" I asked. They hesitated to tell us, "you've told the truth this far, why stop now?!" Cullin shouted. Mom responded, "your powers are being unlocked." "It takes time but it's starting." The pain just kept coming and coming, we could barely move nor could we speak. We sat there, agonizing in our pain and wishing it could be over. "Adelaide, I'm scared." Cullin said, "don't worry, we'll be fine." I responded. He grabbed my hand and held on tightly. We didn't let go of each other, not even we he passed out from the pain. "We'll be back in about two weeks." Dad said as they were leaving, "we love you." "Wait!" But it was too late, they already went into the woods. It's like they just disappeared out of thin air while we were sitting here in pain. "Shit, I gotta do something." I slowly got up with my hand still holding onto Cullin. I lifted him up and onto my back and tried to walk as fast as I could back to the apartment. Falling down sometimes in pain but getting right back up and moving along. "Geez this kid is heavy."
I finally got back to the apartment, opening the door as fast as I could. I set him down on the couch and ran into the kitchen. The pain was sustained for a bit but as I was a cold rag for Cullin and placing it on his forehead, I fell. "No, this can't be happening right now. I need to keep going." I tried to get up but I fell down again. "Amy, are you okay? Brian walked out overhearing what was happening. "I don't have time to explain. I'm in serious pain and so is this boy, we need help." I was panting and sweating. I couldn't move again, "Okay, don't move, just lie down somewhere and I'll help you." "Okay, I'll lie down but help him first." He was shocked, "but I don't know him--" "Brian, please! Just help him!" I shouted, "okay, okay. I'll help him first." Brian went into the kitchen and grabbed some pills. As I was lying in agony, moaning and groaning. Then I felt my eyes get heavy, I was passing out. "Amy, stay with me. I'm gonna help you next." "My eyes are getting...heavy. I don't think I can stay awake!" I shouted. I was slowly dozing off, everything around me was blurry and my ears were starting to close up. I couldn't hear or see a thing, and then my eyes went shut. And the blue tint in my hair became a full grown darkish-blue streak.

The next morning, I slowly woke up and everything was clear and bright. I looked around and I saw my brother was still sleeping. "Hey, you're awake." I turned to Brian, "how long was I out?" I asked, "just for the night, it's only ten o'clock so you're good." "Okay. How is he?" I asked, "him? He's doing fine. He woke up about three hours ago but he fell back asleep, he was still a bit tired." I looked at him and I saw the blue streak in his hair around the same place where mine was. I tried to sit up but I was still a bit dizzy, "I put some Tylenol out for you." "Thank you." I smiled as I took the pills. "Now tell me, what happened? Cause you had to drop off our snacks and then you bolted out of here." I hesitated at first but I told him, "I got a call from my parents. Like my real parents to go meet them in the park." He was shocked, "seriously? How did it go?" "Well, when I got there, he was there and I was confused at first. He told me I'm his long lost sister so when I saw him, I got a bit annoyed. Then suddenly, my parents just showed up, saying that he was telling the truth. Then they started telling the truth, basically this long apology. We were angry and upset but when we tried to yell at them, it was like we got a kick in the stomach. It kept happening over and over, getting worse and worse. We couldn't stand and we couldn't speak. Then like that, my parents just left. They said that they're coming back in about two weeks though." "So after hearing the whole story, are you gonna make amends with your god-parents?" He asked, "I'm gonna try." I replied, "that's good." I took another look at Cullin laying on the couch, sleeping. And I sighed a bit. "What's wrong?" Brian asked, "this is all a lot to take in. I wish I could just figure it out and poof! It goes away." I laughed. "By the way, what's his name?" "Cullin." "Like Edward Cullin from that stupid movie?" He asked jokingly, "hey, it was not a stupid movie." I laughed, "but yeah, his name is Cullin." I smiled, "just gotta figure out our last name."

Brian went to work while I stayed here to watch Cullin. He woke up about an hour ago but just in case one of us has another spell. "Are you okay to walk around?" I asked, "Yeah, I just wasn't feeling well, like you." Then he realized, "wait, you care?" He asked, "I always care about other people. I'm just unsure about things, especially having a little brother." I responded. "You know I'm telling the truth." "I know, I was doing some research when I first saw you. I still didn't believe it at first but when mom and dad explained about you, I opened my eyes and realized that you are telling the truth, I just wasn't listening." "It's okay, maybe I should've approached you differently." He said. "We all make mistakes. Besides, I'm actually glad I have a little brother, now I can pick on you when I want." I laughed, "hey!" "Just kidding, I really am glad." He smiled, "me too. I don't feel so alone, biologically anyway." I looked at the time, "shit, I gotta go train then go to work." I was rushing around to grab my things then, "hey, you wanna come with me?" I asked as his face grew brighter with a smile, "hell, yeah!" He shouted walking to the door as we left.
