"Run cam just run" Melissa said *bang,bang* Melissa then screamed and hugged me tight while hiding her head in my neck I started running faster to get me and Melissa away from the gun shots I then started running towards Nash's house even though we're not on talking terms it's the nearest and safest place

When me and Melissa arrived to Nash's house Melissa was crying bad due to the pain I then knocked on the door and Skylynn she then looked down at the blood on Melissa's leg and her eyes went wide wMOMMY,HAYES,NASH,DADDY" Mrs and Mr.grier ran down with scared looks on there face same with Nash and Hayes mrs.grier then looked at Melissa and then at her leg "oh my god you guys come in" she said "get the first aid kit now chad" mrs.grier yelled "boys get some pain killers water and wet towels" I then carried Melissa bridle style and laid her down on the couch "I'll give you money to pay for new couches" I told mrs.grier "oh no honey don't worry about it" she said "but what about all the blood" I asked "it's fine trust me" I then nodded my head and soon the boys and chad came back with the things nila asked for

"Okay you boys go and talk, me and chad got this" Nila said I then nodded my head and ran my hand through my hair "can we talk" I asked Nash and Hayes nodded their heads we walked towards the back yard we sat down on the chairs "I'm sorry,I really am" I said looking at them "I know I over reacted by punching Hayes my anger just took over me and he kissed my girlfriend" I said looking down at my shoes "look man I'm sorry I was stupid for kissing Melissa okay yeah she's a very sweet girl but she's your's and I'm gonna respect that"Hayes said "thank you Hayes" I said "welcome" "and Nash I'm sorry for going off on you and your brother" I said

"i forgive you" Nash said I then looked up at him and smiled "so we're all friends again" I asked "no cam not friends..family again" "group hug" Hayes yelled  me and Nash chucked and all hugged "I missed this" we all said in synch "guys" I heard nila say "is she okay" I asked worried "yes can she's fine she's sleeping right now" nila said with a smile I huge smile spread on my face I then walked over to nila and gave her a hug "thank you,thank you so much" I said hugging her "your welcome Cameron" she smiled she then walked back inside "I'm gonna go check on Melissa" I told Hayes and Nash they nodded their head I walked inside the house to see Melissa sitting down on the couch drinking a cup of water "how's you leg babe" I asked

"it's hurts a little" she replied taking another sip of water I sat down next to her and grabbed her small waist sitting her down on my lap she then smiled and laid her head down on my chest I then looked down at Melissa she's been through so much and here I am lucky enough to have her even though all these things have happened to us but mostly to her she has been through so much pain and I hate it knowing I can't always be there to protect her now that I'm going on tour again it scares me that gabes crew will come and take her for good...

"Cam babe why are you crying" Melissa asked "you've been through so much baby and I hate seeing you like this I hate seeing you go through all this pain and I'm not gonna be here to protect you and it hurts me and scares me that I'm not gonna be here to make sure your safe" "shhh babe yeah I've been through a lot but I have you that keeps me going and don't ever think that you don't protect me cause you always protect me alright babe I love you cam I really do" Melissa said looking at me I then smiled and she pecked my lips "I love you so much princess" I said kissing her lips passionately

"I wanna go home" Melissa said "I dont think that the best idea baby" I said "ugh I just wanna lay down" Melissa whined I carried her bridle style and went outside were Nash and here's were "hey Nash can Melissa lay down on your bed or like a guest bedroom" I asked "yeah she can like down on my bed bro" Nash replied "thanks man" "no problem" I then walked up the stairs towards Nash's room "mr and ms Grier" I said

ounce I reached the top of the stairs "yes cam" Nila asked "Nash said it was okay for Melissa to lay down in his room so I was just asking you if it was okay" I said "oh yes for sure go head you know where it's a hun" she replied "thank you Nila" I replied "no problem sweetie" she smiled I then walked into Nash's room and lifted the covers up and carefully laid Melissa down I put the overs over her and put a strand of hair behind her ear "Melissa baby I don't know if you can hear me right now which you peso it can't since your sleeping but I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry all this has happened to you you've been hurt way many times I hate seeing you in this position I still remember the day were I almost lost you" I then passed since I was choking in my own tears "whenever you have to go to the hospital cause of gabs crew it scared me and now that your sister has joined them scares me more were moving baby we're having a fresh new start hopefully just me and you get to live in peace I-I just feel like this is my fault that your in this pain I feel like I can't protect you or I'm not trying hard enough to make sure your safe and that why I want you to have a fresh new start I want us to have a fresh new start I love you Melissa I really do" I said I then kissed her forehead and sat down and Nash's chair waiting for Melissa to wake up from her nap
