So this is it. My last day in Indiana. Leaving my best friend Hailey, my school and my whole life is going to change. I woke up early because my flight was leaving early so I had some time to say goodbye to Hailey. She has always been there for me when people bullied me, called me nerd etc. She was my only friend here.
After I woke up, I went into my bathroom and took a shower. I got out after washing and put on high waisted light wash jeans with a white tank top and a red and black flannel. I did my make up and straightened my hair.
I went downstairs to have some breakfast. But I wanted to see Hailey so I just took an apple. My mom and dad we're still packing some stuff and so was my brother George. I had already packed everything so I took my blue penny board with pink wheels and made my way to Hailey's house.
I knocked on her door picking up my penny board. She opened the door with tears in her eyes and practically jumped on me. I giggled as tears started to cover my vision.
"I'm...going...to miss you so so so much!" She choked out crying on my shoulder. Seeing her cry made me cry too.
"I'm going to miss you too, don't worry I promise to stay in touch." I replied. We both pulled away and I try to smile but failed. She smiled at me weakly.
"Well I have to go now but I will come visit sometime. I love you." I finally said after a long silence.
"I love you too, find new friends but promise me that if you do find new friends not to forget about me." She said laughing but then crying even harder.
"I promise goodbye." I said.
We had our last hug. We both finally pulled away and I put down my penny board and started riding home. I took one last look back smiled and waved goodbye. Hailey did the same and minutes later I was home.
I opened the door to see my mom and dad taking their bags. Then I saw George coming downstairs with his bags. Luckily our new house in California already has our furniture there set up for us. I ran upstairs to my room and took my luggage.
(SKIPPING PLANE RIDE)
We stepped out of the plane. California was so beautiful. I smiled at thought of living here.
"So dad when are we starting school?" George asked in my dad's car that has been drove here.
"um I'm sorry kids but you are starting tomorrow because it will be Monday so..." He replied.
"What!? we just got here!" I yelled.
"I know I know." My dad replied calmly.
We arrived at the house and it looks amazing. Me and George chose our rooms and started unpacking. Of course I was finished first. I went on my phone and sent Hailey some pictures of the house and the views. I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in!" I yelled. The door opened and George walked in and sat on my bed.
George is my twin brother but is a couple hours older than me. He is overprotective but I really don't mind.
"Hey!"
"Hey." I replied.
"so um there's a beach like five minutes away from here you wanna come?"
"Yeah...sure I'll get changed."
He nodded and left my room. I walked into my walk in closet and picked out some high waisted black jean shorts and a white crop top. It was really hot so... I took some sunglasses and curled my hair loosely. I put on my converse to finish it off.
I walked down stairs and saw George.
"Ready?" He asked.
I nodded and we made our way out. We both took our penny boards and rode to the beach.
When we got there it was still really hot so we sat down in the sand and talked. George said he was going to the toilet because there was a café not far from where we were. So I decided to lie down. I could feel someone sitting down next to me.
"George that was quick." I said sitting up.
"Who the fuck's George!?" The person next to me said. It wasn't George it was a guy with blonde hair he was wearing a black tee-shirt, a leather jacket black skinny jeans and black converse. He was hot.
"And you are...?"
"Oh I'm Kian and who the fuck is George?!" He yelled
"And who the fuck are you to know?!" I yelled back.
He grabbed my arm and pulled me closer. I stared into his eyes as he stared deeply into mine. I could feel his hot breath blowing lightly on my face. He smirked at me and let go.
"HEY GET AWAY FROM HER!!" I heard George yell. I could see him in the distance.
"You're a virgin aren't you?" He whispered with his lips pressed against my ear sending goosebumps down my body.
I didn't respond and as George was getting closer he smirked and got up and walked away. What the fuck was that.
"Hey are you alright?" He asked catching his breath from running.
"Um..yeah we should get going home." I said.
He looked at me confused then agreed and we penny boarded home. I had a late dinner with my family but I couldn't stop thinking about Kian. How did he know?
I finished eating and decided to pick out an outfit for tomorrow. I picked out black leggings and a white and black crop top with a light wash denim jacket and white converse. After that I took my make up off and changed to some pyjamas and went to sleep.
