I sobbed into my arm. I can't believe we were charged as guilty. The court said they found the bloody clothes and all of the things we said were lies.
Stacey was there and she was a witness. Apparently she saw us at the hospital looking suspicious. Like wtf she's such a fucking lying bitch. I want to rip out every bit of her hair and throw her out a window. Too harsh?
Anyways long story short we're still in jail.
"Hey I'm Lindsay." This girl came up to me with a towel wrapped around her.
"I'm Laura." I smiled holding onto the towel around me.
"How long you been here?"
"Almost 6 days." I responded. "What about you?"
"Around 5 years." She said like it was nothing.
"Wow what did you do?" I asked surprised. "I'm sorry that sounded me-"
"It's ok." She smiled cutting me off. "I took drugs and did nasty shit. What about you?"
"I pulled a knife out of a girl's chest and the police think that I was the one who put the knife there in the first place."
The line finally moved up. I slowly pulled my towel off.
I hated this. Showering in front of all the girls. Yeah doesn't sound bad right? Except the girls who are attracted to girls check me out and I get very uncomfortable.
I looked over at Lindsay. She had tattoos down her arm. It looked good on her.
I started washing my body not looking around at all.
"You uncomfortable?" Lindsay asked me.
I nodded looking at her face.
"It's fine you'll get used to it." She smiled.
She seems really kind. No one else here has had a real conversation with me.
"Did you get used to it?" I asked.
"Well yeah. When your here this long you suddenly become to like girls. Do you have a problem with girls liking girls?" She asked kindly.
"No not all." I smiled.
"You have the best looking body out of all of us so don't be surprised that they check you out."
"I wish everyone here is perfect and then I'm just a potato." I laughed.
"No your not. Maybe after we both leave here we could maybe go on a date."
"I'm sorry Lindsay but...l....um...I don't like girls in that way and I h-have a boyfriend." I stuttered.
"Oh that's fine Laura. We can be friends?" She smiled.
I nodded smiling.
I was back in my cell in that ugly ass jumpsuit. I'm just glad my mom and dad believe my story.
I started thinking about Kian and how's he doing. Does he still love me? We haven't talked to each other for a while except for court but we talked to the judge mostly.
I wanted to be out of here. I wanted to run my fingers through Kian's blonde hair and kiss him everywhere.
An officer opened my cell.
"Time for cleaning." He said.
By that he means folding, cleaning and ironing jumpsuits. But I might see Kian there...hopefully.
We got to the place where there's washing machines etc and they had the place locked.
I looked around it was just girls Lindsay wasn't here. I sighed and started folding some of the suits.
