"Aw Niall what happened?" Liam asked opening the door and letting me in his flat.

"Bullied." I managed to choke out. My voice was very hoarse from crying earlier.

I tried to limp to the couch but my legs were very tired and they just gave up on me. I ended up collapsing on the floor right in front of Liam. How embarrassing.

Liam gently picked me up and carried me over to the couch. He grabbed the blanket that was laying on the arm of the couch and spread it out on me.

"Niall, you look awful. I'm gonna go get the first aid kit from the back." I simply nodded and watched him leave the room.

I glanced at the tv and saw that Liam has been watching Courage the Cowardly Dog. I don't blame him to be honest. That's one of my favorite cartoons. I used to watch it all the time when I was little.

Liam walked back in the room with the first aid kit. He immediately started to patch me up and I squeezed the pillow that was next to me.

"You know Niall, I used to get bullied too." I gasped. I was utterly shocked. Liam Payne, one of the hottest and most sexiest person in the world, used to get bullied. Unbelievable.

He looked up at me and nodded "The daily beatings were terrible for me. I used to skipped the rest of school just like you are doing right now."

He finished patching me up and set the first aid kit aside. He sat on the couch and pulled me up on his lap. I didn't complain. I needed this alot.

"Whatever you do, don't listen to the mean things they say to you. You are perfect just the way you are. Those bullies are obviously blind if they can't see that." Liam said.

I layed my head on his chest and
cuddled more into him. He put his arm around me and I listened to the sound of his heart beat.

"Liam, I really needed this. I needed someone to talk to. Someone who gets me and understands what I'm going through. Someone who will comfort me when I need it. And finally I found that someone. Liam, that someone is you. My mum comforts me too but she's just nothing compared to you."

I looked up at him. His eyes were watery and he just had the biggest smile on his face.

"Ni, that was really touching. I've never met anyone who felt that way about me."

"Well now you have."

The visits to Liam became more and more comfortable each time I went. I went everyday after school and sometimes spent the night.

I'm starting to like him more than a friend. And well, I'm not ready to ask him out. He might not feel the same way and I don't want to wreck our friendship. He's probably not even gay. But if only he knew how I really feel about him.
