Chapter 21

Author's Note: So sequel it is! Now, I had an idea about a new fanfic but not sure if I should go through with it... what do you all think? I've written at least a paragraph and I will put it at the end of this chapter. But for now enjoy!! :)

- Nicole's POV -

"Lowery! Good to hear from you! Anything new?" I heard Claire ask him.

I sensed something was wrong and I looked at Claire with a worried expression on my face. I waited for Claire to tell us what happened. I was thinking something along the lines of maybe Indy getting loose or Dr. Wu finding out something but the words that came out her mouth were worse. I can tell by the look on her face that something was extremely wrong.

"Claire," I began and she looked at me before saying,

"Vivian is missing." Oh god. There was only one person who could could have taken her. Dr. Wu.

"Oh that's perfect." Michael said and Gray groaned.

"This is one hell of a vacation." Zach said and Gray nodded in agreement. If only there was a faster way to get to the control room.

"Who's Vivian again?" I heard Owen ask and he looked at me for an answer.

"I'll explain later, come with me Owen." I took his hand and I then ran off into the jungle.

"Nicole, where are you going?!" I heard Claire yell and I turned back around.

"Stay here! I'll be back in less than ten minutes!" I then began running. I knew a faster way to get to the control room. And the transportation isn't far away.

Owen and I ran for what seemed like forever. That forever turned out to be 20 minutes.

"Where are we going?" Owen asked and we paused to take a breath.

"We should be right around the area where Justin left his car. I don't know why we didn't take it in the first place."
I said, still breathing heavily.

We rested for another minute before we continued on. Owen and I walked together the rest of the way, which was approximately a five minute walk.

Finally we came to where Justin parked his car. I didn't want to look at his body. I was sure that Blue finished eating him but if I looked, I would probably have nightmares for the rest of my life.

I got in the car and thank god, Justin left the keys in the cup holder.  Owen and I both got in the car and then we drove back to where Claire and the others were.

It took us a while to find them. But eventually, we did. I rolled down the window, smiling. Proud at myself for thinking about Justin and how he left the car.

"Get in," I said and the others looked surprised.

"Damn. Where'd you get a car?" Michael asked.

"Justin. He drove it here. Now get in." I said once again and the others got in.

"Brilliant." Zach said and I smiled.

"Thanks, but hold on." I said and then I stepped on the gas and we took off, speeding in the direction of the Samsung Innovation Center.

I skidded to a stop as we reached the steps of the Center.

I looked at everyone in the back and they were holding on tight to either each other, or something.
