"But it's your life. You can do what you want with it."

"False. I am a teenager. My parents dictate my life. I am expected to be respectful of all they have done for me and show my gratitude by obeying their rules. Disobey them, I am on the streets, moneyless. Disobey the social quo, I am sitting by myself at lunch, consumed by loneliness. It is a lie that this life is mine because I am living for other people in everything I do."
