England, love it, the food, the fresh non-polluted environment, oh and the thing I love the most out of it all? The weather.
Note: sarcasm.
Typical September morning. Clouds encasing our little island in white, wet, weather. Nothing to do, no where to go. Nothing On the radio, nothing but, One Direction and Carly Rae Jepson bleating on and on in my ear, honestly what is wrong with people's taste in music these days?
I had finished all my books, no news on Facebook. So I was sitting on the sofa playing call of duty. My phone buzzed, usually if I'm playing call of duty and my phone buzzes, I will not take my eye of the game until I've killed everyone.
But today I was desperate for any form of comunication with another human being. Velma had texted me.
Velma is a year older than me, but she is the most amazing friend, she is so funny and cool, brave and sensible, not girly at all, and honestly I can tell her anything.Velma Mason: Bored much? Wanna come to the indoor park, the one with the cafe?
I replied immediately.
ME: Yes! Meet there in an hour!
I abandoned call of duty, and pulled on a pair of leggings and a sweater. Grabbing my leather jackets, beanie, converse and backpack, I raced out the door, umbrella in hand.
I decided taking the bus would be cheaper, so I took the bus. Once I arrived, Velma was already there. She smiled when she saw me. Her shoulder-length hair, brushing her at her neck. She's always saying she's not the prettiest girl in her class, and she isn't, but that doesn't matter to me. Because to me, she is one of the most beautiful people in the world, on the inside.
"Hey!" Velma, gave me a great, big bear hug.
"Hi, it's great to see you!" I said. "You know what I'm glad to be around any other homo sappien, other than my mother and sister, at the moment. I feel to trapped and isolated at home." I complained.
"Don wowwy yool be just fine." Velma said in a baby chipmunk voice.
"Fank yoo!" I replied in the same voice, as best I could do it.
We walked around for a while, talking about school and stuff, I told her about Jessica. And Pheonix.
"Come on? Your just thinking too much about Deila, you need to relax. Jessica is just making new friends. That's okay, isn't it? No one is trying to steal anyone from you. Promise." Velma reassured me. I guess she was right, We were all friends, I needed to stop thinking about the problems I had, had in the past.
I don't know why but when we grew to talk about the people in Velma's school, we grew quiet. An uncomfortable silence stretched over us like a thick gnarling weed which neither of us dared to break. Finally, the cafe came into view.
Thank god. Ice cream. Something to talk about.
We started talking again, it was kind of reliving, but I could tell that Velma's school was a touchy subject. There was something she want telling me and as you have hopefully gathered.
I hate when people don't tell me stuff.
I tried to, lighten her mood, by arranging a sleepover. Then maybe I could get her to talk. But every time I approached the subject she seemed to change it.
Something was up.
We bought some coffee, and talked a little while longer. I told Velma about the party, she said it sounded really fun, and that, the fact that Jessica was socialising with other girls was good. Even if it was Pheonix.
I guess I had mixed feelings about Pheonix; I didn't really know what to think of her, one day she was really nice to me, another she would tease me and throw me snide comments, others she would act like I wasn't even there. So I try to just keep her at an arms length.
Despite all we talked about I still went home and wrote two songs about Deila. One called PICTURES and another called I WANT YOU BACK.
I enjoy writing songs, I find it expresses my opinion and my feelings really well.I want you back
Tell me the truth, cause I wanna know
Where ever did you, yeah where did you go?
Are you happy where you are? Are you?
And do you ever think about me, before you turn off the light,
The light, and go sleep melting into the night, do you? Tell me the truth?Chorus
Please Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me tell me PLEASE!
Do you care, about me give a doubt to yours truly!
Because you know, you know! I know, I know that I'm begging you PLEASE to,
Let me, let me, let me, let me, let me see you!
And why don't you know that I've asking for you, all around!
And without you, don't you know that my hearts in a drought, Whoooaaaa!
Why don't you want me, don't you know I miss you!
And if you you call me call me call me call I'll come and I'll run yes I will do!I miss you, more than the everything,
You were funny and true, when I was sad you'd take me under your wing,
Don't you want me anymore, do you?
Do you ever talk about me to all your new friends,
Your friends, do they ever hear the end of it. Do they? Tell me the truth?Chorus
(Bridge) Where has it gone, our friendships immortality,
Your never coming home, I need to face the reality.
And the facts, all the real facts. all the damn facts
But the fact is, here's the fact; I want you back.Chorus x2 harmonise
I played around on the keyboard coming up with some simple chords, before adding assents and a main piano tune.
Then I strummed on my guitar for a while, until I got it all perfectly. I recorded myself playing each instrument, before uploading it to Garage band and adding drums and bass. I downloaded it onto my iTunes and listened to it play over and over. I was not seriously talented, but it was better than One Direction and Carly Rae Jepson.
In my opinion.PICTURES
Chorus
A picture just isn't enough for me to go on, all memories of you are so rough I can't bestow on them. I need you back, I need you back, I need you back as my friend.I was about to start making some music but I was interrupted.
My older sister graciously knocked, to make sure I was in, before waiting for me to graciously answer, before entering the room, very graciously, at that.
Note: sarcasm.
Agh.
"Have you ever heard of knocking?" I asked politely." Note: sarcasm. The songs are, lyrics and soundtracks, copyright, all rights reserved. If you want to listen to it, I'll try to upload them onto one of the last chapters of this story, so look out.
It's not very good, but like I said I'm not massively talented.
Rachael, your big chapter is still to come! Kitty yours is next.
