Mike's POV
I slowly opened my eyes, flinching from the bright light. My vision was a bit blurry, but that cleared after a little bit. I looked at the ivs stuck in my good arm, while the other was in a cast. I looked around the room and noticed a sleeping figure on the chair next to me. Y/N. I attempted to move, but one of the ivs fell out. A nurse ran in and grabbed a new one, putting it back in my arm. "It's good to see you awake after so long, mr.Schmidt. (I think I spelt that right xD) I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and looked at her. "How long was I asleep?" She looked at me,"about 2 weeks, are you hungry or anything?" I shook my head and she nodded. "Your friend hasn't left your side since you got here, would you like me to wake her?", I nodded as she softly shook Y/N's shoulder.
Y/N's POV
I was having a peaceful dream for once, but someone shook my shoulder, sending me back into reality. "Sorry", a females voice said as I opened my eyes. I quickly looked at mike and widened my eyes. Mike was awake! I quickly got up and hugged him, making sure not to hurt him. He chuckled and hugged back weakly. "How are you feeling?", I asked and he chuckled. "Could be better", he smiled and I smiled back but my smile faltered and mike noticed. "What's wrong?.." I looked at him with sorrow in my eyes,"we have to go back.." He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at me,"what?!" I looked down and played with my fingers,"he said when you wake we go right back to work.. He made the doctors be able to let you leave when you wake.." Mike growled as fury lit up his eyes.
