Later that day, I had gotten to our usual lunch table but everyone seemed.. off?

"Okay, what's up? Why are you guys so quiet?" I finally asked as we sat in silence.

"Jack, you want to tell him?" Liam asked as the rest of them looked over to Jack.

"Tell me what?" I asked curiously.

"Remember when they took Ricky to juvy?" he asked cautiously.

"Yes?" I asked slowly.

"Well, I was at the mall picking up a few things and.. I saw him.. across the store." he said as he looked up through his lashes timidly.

My breath caught in my throat and I felt the color drain from my face, "Are you one hundred percent sure it was him?" I asked with a shaky voice.

"Yeah, he even came and talked to me." he said nervously.

"Okay, and? What did he tell you?" I asked getting a bit anxious.

"He said that he needed to talk to you, that he's changed for the better.. then he asked to talk to me as well.." he said and looked down at his lap.

"Did you?" I asked.

"Y-Yeah." he stuttered.

"And what did he say?"

"Well, he got out early for good behavior and then he, y'know.. we.."

"Just tell him." Eleanor said as Danni looked at her lap with an unreadable expression.

"We.. kissed?" he said, saying it more as a question.

"You what?!" I yelled as a few students looked over at us and gave us odd stares.

"We kissed, okay? I'm so sorry, Lou! But he honestly did change! And I want you to talk to him." he apologized.

"To hell I will! I can't believe this!" I yelled as a few tears pricked my eyes.

"Louis, before you get even more upset, we all went to talk to him and he really has changed!" Eleanor protested.

"You guys are okay with this?!" I asked with confusion and anger. "You know what, whatever! If you get hurt, don't you dare think about whining to me!" I screamed as I stood up abruptly.

"Louis!" he yelled after me as I walked to my car then drove to my house. Liam's just going to have to find another ride. Maybe with Jack, Danielle, El and ricky perhaps! Note the sass.

How dare he come and tell me that my abusive ex was better and wanted to talk to me? How dare he kiss him? All Ricky wanted was to get in his pants then ruin his life forever! I would know, that's how he played me! Except I didn't let him take my virginity and that's whenever he started to smack me around like a ragdoll. I couldn't think straight as I pulled into my driveway. I turned the car off but didn't move from my spot in the car. I didn't even know Jack was gay or bi or pan or whatever he is! This made me even more frustrated as I screamed then slammed my fist on the steering wheel. I saw something move in front of me and I looked up to see Harry had stepped out from inside the house. He gave me a concerned and confused look. I sighed then got out of the car and walked past him and into the living room then plopped down on the couch with a groan.

"What's wrong, Boo?" he asked as he sat next to me then wrapped his arm around my shoulders, rubbing his thumb on my arm.

"Everything.." I whispered as I finally broke down and buried my face into his chest.
