Chapter 10

When we got to the restaurant we picked a booth and the guards were standing in front.

"Ahem" i say clearing my throat."Go eat and stay a distance so we can talk. You are dismissed."i say to the guards.

"Thank you." they say and i nod back to them smiling.

When they left i explained to Cody what happened.

"That must have sucked." Cody says laughing after i finish the story.

"Yep, but its all good you saved me from that mess and now I'm spending my evening with you." I say leaning over to kiss him. He immediately kisses back. But of course, someone had to interrupt.

"What would you like to eat tonight?" The waiter asks.

"Salad, Please." i say

"Make that two."Cody says.

The waiters leaves.

"Now where were we." Cody leans over to kiss me once more.

"Oh I'm sorry. What would you like to drink?" The waiters interrupts again.

"Scotch on rocks, with a twist."i say.

"Make that two." Cody says.

"Ill be right back." the waiter says.

"Take your time." Cody says.

"Hey, Im gonna go to the bathroom. Ill be back." Cody says standing up.

As soon as he leaves the waiter comes back.

"Here you go."

"Thank you,sir." i reply.

"Be careful." The waiter says winking at me.

Uhm why did he just do that. What does he mean by 'be careful'. Oh well lets just have dinner with my amazing boyfriend.

"Food is here, yummy." Cody says.

"Yep, i don't know how good it is though. I waited for you to get back." i said

"True love." he says sighing then picking up his fork.

I picked up my fork and took a bite. A couple of bites of the salad and i start choking. Cody looked at me in shock.

Cody POV

I take a bite and she does too. I was halfway through and she starts choking. Her face turns purple. I want to help her but I'm too in shock. What do i do?! She looks at me. Shes not breathing.

"Guards call the ambulance!"

"Oh God. What do i do?"

The ambulance gets here in few minutes. They take her to the hospital. I was riding in the ambulance with her. She glanced at me then went unconscious.

When i woke up the doctor came to me and said,"Someone poisoned and put something that she was allergic to. She is very lucky the ambulance brought her when they did. If she would have arrived minutes later than she did, she wouldn't have lived. She is conscious but she needs sleep. She can take visitors but 2 minutes or so."

"Thank you."I say giving the doctor a hug.

"Yes, Room 343." the doctor says.

I think i peeled out. I never ran so fast to that room.

"How are you doing?"i ask immediately.

She looks up to me and smiles. "Could have been better."

"Yeah.. I was pretty worried." i said looking down.

"My little baby was worried?" she says pinching my cheek.

"Yeah."i blush.

"Well i should have took the warning." she says.

"What warning?"My eyes widen.

"The waiter told me to 'Be careful'." she says.

"He could have been talking about something."I say trying to reassure her.

"No. He said that after he handed me the food." she says.

Alexis' POV

I started choking. Anchovies?! Olives?! Im allergic. This sauce is this poison. I tried to say 'help' but nothing would come out. Cody just looked at me not knowing what to do. Until he started shouting for the bodyguards after that everything went blank. I couldn't see nor hear anything. I awoke in the ambulance with Cody right on the side of me i looked at him and wanted to say,'I love you' but nothing would come out. I then went unconscious. I woke up again in the hospital with Cody right on the side of me.

We talked and laughed. But then i got a text.

Ashley: Hey this is Ashley from the studio I got a new number. When should you be out of the hospital we really need to finish the movie. Oh, and what room number are you in. I want to come and bring you flowers and a get well card.

Alexis:3-4 more days in this place. Room 343. Thank you.

Ashley: Thats great! Ill come swing by Thursday.

Alexis: See you then :)

"Whose that?" Cody asks. He saw me looking at my phone.

"Ashley she wants to know when ill be outta here." i say looking back at him.

He was going to say something but the door swings open. My mother, Leah, Ashley, and Daniel walks in.

Too many people. My heart begins racing. And of course i pass out. I hear Cody say,"One at a time. People wait in the waiting room. You overwhelmed her she passed out she wont wake up for either 5 to 7 minutes."

I wake up because i feel something or someone shaking me. Leah.

"Yes?" i say rubbing my eyes.

"She woke up!!" she exclaims and everyone rushes over.

"Hello, everyone." i say forcing a smile.

"Here, i came to bring this and we'll hit the road."Ashley says handing me a card saying 'Get Well Soon'.

"Thought you were coming Thursday." i say.

"No.. Why would i come Thursday? And how are you? When can you be back on the set?" Ashley asks.

"Did you get a new number?" i ask.

"Nope mine is still the same number. My phone is a piece of crap though." Ashley says.

I begin hyperventilating.

"What,hun?" my mother asks.

I show her my phone and she turns pale.

"Well someone is paying me a visit Thursday.." i say staring at the ground.

"Don't worry I'm here."Cody says leaning over to kiss me.

"Oh yes. Im totally not scared. My boyfriend knows karate so theres nothing to be afraid of."

"I don't know karate but i learn to for you." Cody says smiling at me.

The doctor walks in,"Alright, she needs her rest we have 3 chairs so some can sleep in here but she needs her sleep a lot more surgeries tomorrow."
