Ashton's P.O.V.

I laid in my bed, hugging my teddy bear tight. I know, its childish to have a teddy bear, but my grandpa gave me this teddy bear. And Im never going to get rid of it.

Staring out the window, I watched the rain pour down. The lightening flashed, causing my dark room to burst with light for a split second before it was pitch black again.

I began to cry, for no reason. I just couldnt stop the tears. I hadnt been to school in days. I had no motivation.

Suddenly, I saw a shadow jump onto my balcony. My eyes widened in fear as I watched its tall silhouette come closer to the locked sliding glass door.
Jumping up, I turned on my bedside lamp to see a dripping wet Lukas standing out on my balcony. His eyes were red and bloodshot, his face twisted into one of desperation. But when his eyes landed on me, his face was flushed with relief.

"Ashton." He said, pressing his forehead against the glass. "Please, let me in." Lukas pleaded, looking into my eyes. Sighing, I stood up. He was my mate, I couldnt stand to see him so heartbroken.

Opening the door, I was immediately brought into his arms. He held me close and tight, as if he were afraid Id slip away. "Dont go." I heard him whisper.

I began to cry again, holding onto him like my life depended on it. He kissed my head gently, as if I were more fragile than glass.

"Please come home." He said, stroking my hair softly. I don't know if it was from all the crying, or if I was just tired, but I said yes.
