Ashton Above ^^^^

Lukas' P.O.V.
Ashton fell asleep in my arms, his cheeks stained with tears. It hurt like hell to see him in so much pain. His cuts had already healed, due to the account of his werewolfs' abitily to heal quickly. Reading what that note had said, I wanted to rip out each of their throats.
He whimpered in his sleep quietly but calmed down when I gently stroked his thick black hair. He was so small, so pale. But, I could tell by his scent, he was a hybrid. Half werewolf, half vampire. Which explained his paleness.
Carrying him to my car, I laid him down in the back seat. I didnt like him not being buckled, but I wasnt going to wake him up. I pressed my lips against his forehead gently, causing a soft purr to pass his lips. I smiled and closed the car door quietly before walking around the other side and climbing into the driver's seat.
I drove back to Pack House carefully and slowly, trying to make sure no potholes or speed bumps woke my sleeping mate. He turned over so he laid on his back and his breath started to become less even, and I knew he was waking up. I glanced back from the road to rear veiw mirror to see him rub his eyes and sit up.
I watched as his face filled with panic as he looked around the car, then his eyes met my form and he calmed down. His electric blue eyes filled with an emotion I couldnt read as they scanned my body. "Where are we going?" He asked, his voice shaking in fear.
"The Pack House. You'll be staying with me so that I can keep an eye on you, and protect you from any harm." I told him, my voice clipped. I may have sounded rude, but it wasn't all me. My wolf had been pushing thoughts of Ashton being hurt into my mind.
He looked shock, and suddenly his voice was confident and laced with anger. "You cant take me from my family! I have a sibling on the way! My dad is always at work! Mom needs me!" He practically shouted as we pulled up to the gate of the Pack House.
I sighed and ran a hand through my platinum blonde hair. He was right. But I couldnt let him out of my sight. No way in hell I was letting that happen.
"Ashton, please understand that I cant let anything happen to you. She can stay here, where you can keep an eye on her. Or I can have one of the nurses or caretakers stay with her. But you're not staying anywhere but the Pack House." I told him as I pulled into the garage.
I looked back to see his face full of stress and worry. I immediately felt bad and regretted every word I had just said. I got out of the car and opened the door to the backseat pulling him out of the car and carrying him into the house.
He squirmed slightly making me set him back on his feet. "Fine, have a caretaker or someone stay with her. But, if Im staying here with you, we need to go over some rules." He told me, crossing his arms and pouting his lips adorably.
Rules?
