Groaning and turning to the side, my eyes widen.Today was Monday, and I didn't do ANY homework, which is horrible because if my parents found out, I wouldn't live to see another day.
Now I have to come up with a believable excuse. Ugh.
I got up from bed and threw a crop top, some dark ripped skinny jeans, and my white converse onto the floor. Not giving a shit about my attire, I went to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror.
Ew..what the fuck?
I looked disgusting with my mascara smeared across my cheeks and eyes, hair resembling a bush, and I reeked of alcohol even though I didn't drink much.
Stripping off my clothes from yesterday I quickly hopped into the shower and took a 10 minute bath to rinse off the smell of beer and my smudged makeup. After getting dressed and doing my makeup, I ran out the door and started driving to school.
All I'm thinking is about my excuse. I've never had missing assignments in all my years of school and now, junior year of high school, here I was without my Literature packet about William Shakespeare, my pre quiz for Trigonometry, and much more.
If I don't come up with an amazing lie, then the teachers will send me to
the principals office and Mr. Talbot will call my parents and... oh my god this is very fucking bad.Okay calm yourself down Olivia... You're just simply overreacting, keep your self calm and don't think about it too much I repeatedly chanted to myself as I pulled into the full parking lot of Westside High School.
Grabbing my black backpack from the shotgun seat (idk if that's what u call it lmao) I ran my hand through my hair and let out a heavy sigh while getting out of the car.
I dreadfully made my way to the hell hole called school. Every step I took made me nervous and I gripped my backpack straps harder, making my knuckles turn white.
I almost shit myself and shrieked when I suddenly heard a voice near the trees of the schools entrance.
"Well look who it is." Jack smirked as he walked out of his hidden spot in the branches and leaves.
Quickly composing myself, I felt my cheeks heat up as I looked at him.
I kept walking but now in a slower pace "I'm late. Please get out of my way."Jacks smirk widened "I'm sorry but I actually like this spot, it's quite amazing, don't ya think?"
I rolled my eyes and tried to side step him, only to be blocked once again.
"Gilinsky please move, I'm not up for your dumb shit. My day didn't start 'oh so great' so if you could be a gentleman for once in your life, and do something more interesting that would be amazing!"
Now it was his turn to roll his eyes as he looked at me. "I'm guessing that you didn't do homework huh?"
I gave him a questioning look. "How'd you know?"
Jacks stupid cocky smirk was still imprinted on his face as he responded to me. "I saw you this whole weekend. There was a party on Friday and then no surprise when I saw you at Starbucks on Saturday, don't forget that I also saw you that same afternoon. Mikes party was on Sunday and lasted for the whole day. So in conclusion, you didn't have any time to finish it."
"I think the actual conclusion is that you stalk me." I said with a fake creeped out look on my face.
"Please. Don't flatter yourself sweetheart. You're not my type, a bit too....what's the word-" his eyes traveled down my body until his eyes snapped back to my face "-basic."
