Where Did She Go?

Hehe, sorry it took so long :P

Jellal rushed to the bathroom where he had seen Erza flee not a moment before. But man, could that girl run.

He stopped for air, as much as it disappointed him he still wasn't used to the twists and turns of the hallways so it wasn't long before he got lost. (A/N: This happened to me on my second day of school T_T)

He was wandering around aimlessly, but his ears perked up when he heard faint sobs coming from the women's bathroom.

Jellal, took a deep breath. He had never been inside a women's bathroom before, it had never occurred to him that they could be different but oh boy was he wrong.

It smelled better but still wasn't very appealing considering it's a Highschool. The walls were a pale pastel pink instead of blue and there were no urinals, instead there were multiple stalls and three sinks and mirrors. (A/N: Honestly, I have no idea why I described the bathroom with so much detail)

Jellal carefully stepped closer and what he saw took his breath away. A girl curled up in a ball, knees pulled up against her body with her arms wrapped around. Long scarlet hair with black streaks were splayed across her figure, giving it an elegant and beautiful picture.

She had changed so much, her hair used to be shoulder length and her eyepatch from when she was in an accident was gone. Back then they were happy, but as time went by Erza had seemed to build some sort of shell around her. She thought it was protecting her but all it seemed to be doing was keeping her isolated.

She used to be like wire wrapped around a rare plant to protect it from dangerous creatures. Jellal was the delicate flower and Erza protected him. But it all changed when he left and she had nothing to protect anymore.

Her once shining eyes were now dull and lifeless, hidden under the scarlet waterfall. Jellal hesitantly sat beside her, he made no move to comfort her, instead he just stayed still.

The two sat there, enjoying the others silence. When her sobbing died down, she sighed. Honestly if she had been in a better mood that day she would have smacked Minerva across the cheek. Unfortunately, having Jellal around put more stress on her shoulders than the competition and exams coming up.

She was almost done high school but had no plans for the future, as much as she waned to she couldn't just stay in a band forever. Eventually she would have to find a job, and then settle down in a nice home with a family.

Family.

For some reason a picture of Jellal smiling flashed across her mind.

Idiot, as if that would happen.

"Soooo..." he said, awkward as always. She giggled. Wait what?! Erza Scarlet does not giggle. But she couldn't hep it, her laughter echoed throughout the bathroom.

He laughed with her, they had no idea why but it just felt right. But when she stopped Erza seemed to have processed what she was doing with her childhood friend.

She quickly stood up "I-I have to-"

"Erza wait!" he grabbed her wrist, holding her back. O.O

She closed her mouth, fighting back from what she wanted to say. From what she wanted to say for years, it had been stuck in her throat. But today, he was her, he was finally here.

So she let it escape from her lips, that one sentence that had been holding her back all this time.

"Why did you leave me?"

And she was gone, Erza ran out. Probably going home sick or something. But she was right. Jellal had left her at the orphanage with all those creepy wierdos. Thankfully she still had her small group of friends but they would never compare to what he was to her.

Kids would always try and bully her because of her eye patch but would back down in fear. There was this one kid who was oddly persistent, his name was Midnight or something. Hopefully he wasn't still at the orphanage.

Jellal felt tears dripping down his cheeks. It's not like he wanted to. He was adopted against his will. The people at the orphanage didn't really understand, every kid wants to be adopted right?! Wrong. He wanted to stay with Erza but unfortunately he had to leave.

The fun little Scarlet haired girl wasn't here anymore.

Where did she go?

Aaaaaand, done. I have no idea why I haven't updated sooner but...ADVICE: TRY NOT TO START MORE THAN ONE STORY ON WATTPAD!!! Now I have two other stories to update T_T
