This is who we are. This is who we'll be. This is what we'll do. This is why we'll die.

We are warriors. Warriors of the peak. We protect our village, our city. We will risk our lives to protect the innocent. Defeat the enemy to save our land. Taste our own blood as we meet our fate.

The mages fear us, and try to stay away. They know they will be defeated easily, even with their paralyzing magic and spells. Our technology is much higher than theirs'. They wouldn't even dare to think about us.

Until one day. One day when the great war began. They had grown. They had a larger, much stronger, army. We couldn't defeat them. This place, world, was finished. They took over, killing every warrior to ever  live. They made the castle theirs'.

We stood no chance for years. Everyone suffered from the darkness they brought, the fears brought to life.

The new king, who ruled the mages before, made new laws and punishments for those who wouldn't follow. He never came out of his palace, he never appeared in wars.

There were no more warriors to help. There were no more happy smiles. There was just fear. Fear of being punished, fear of death.

Then, there was a child. This child was destined for many things. Her fate would give people freedom, peace, and maybe even equality. Depression and fear would turn into happiness and hope. Her destiny will defeat the evil which took over. She will save all.

After years of training and growth, she was given a quest. This quest told her to go to a sacred place, and to move on from there. Then her teacher, other known as the one who gave her the quest, to their last breath , then fell into a deep sleep. The girl didn't cry, nor did she get mad, for she knew this as a good thing.

She set off on her adventure, meeting foes and friends, creating a team who gave her company. It was a hard trek, taking twenty-eight days to complete. Once they got to the sacred plot, they were told of the history, and even the future of the land. Of how once peace came back, everything will grow. Of how it wasn't the king who they were defeating, but a higher force which corrupted his mind.

The group were given another mission. A mission to go back and destroy the force, which had gained control it's victim's mind. So, the group followed the instructions and set off.

The came back to a burnt down village, bloody and black. The city that the girl was born, raised, and saved in, was now a pile of black dust.

After a few moments of observing the damage and their surroundings, the group continued on their way, knowing that the worst was only about to come. They continued to the gate, knocking out the guards and going inside. The girl left her allies, who backed her up and made sure no one that was an enemy would come.

And then, she entered the throne room. The last battle began. There was swords clashing on armor, blood being spilt upon the  ground. Magical explosions hitting the walls making huge holes in them.

The king backed the hero to a hole, making her fall hundreds of feet to the sharp rocks below. Yet, before she fell, she grabbed his coat and pulled him with her. For a moment, it felt like the world had stopped, like it had froze into a block of ice.

Then she realized what was happening and stabbed the king in the chest with her sword, breaking the armor that protected it. There was nothing she could do though to save herself. Nothing to keep her from falling, so, she accepted her fate, being stabbed by the rocks that lied below.

Once they both hit the ground, an explosion of light filled the world. Grey skies turned to blue. Dead life bloomed into new.

People knew that there was no more king, no more wars, and just peace, for they felt their worries lift away from their minds. Her allies saw her fall, they watched the fight, they heard her crash.

Her closest friend in the group vowed to remember the girl's name, to fight all evil and protect the helpless. The rest of the group agreed to this and made themselves an official, permanent, group.

As said before, this is what we are. This is who we'll be. This is what we'll do. This is why we live and die. To protect our village, our city, our people. To protect the innocent and poor, the rich and observant. This is why we will taste our blood as we die, and smell the enemy's as they become defeated. For we are strong, and will protect all. For we are the warriors of the peak.
