Hello, wattpad! I'm starting a new story, it came to my mind and I wanted to share it with wattpad. I had started a story several months ago but I most likely will not finish it, if I do it will be much later. But anyways, This is completely fictional and from my imagination and I would appreciate it if it is not copied or translated yet. Thank you for reading :)
____________________________________I ran. I didn't stop. The six and a half-foot giant who towered in front of me didn't stop me either. My agile body quickly maneuvered around him as he attempted to grab for me. I neared the end zone with each striding step.
"Go, Chloes!"
Jimmy.
At the sound of his voice cheering me on, my legs moved faster, separating me from my larger opponents. My breathing quickened and I looked at the white stripes on the field.
The thirty. The twenty. The ten...
Alright, let's rewind a few months.
Me and my besties, Karen and Miley, were at my house gorging on pizza, hot wings and Pepsi all night while watching 48 Hours before school started. Yes, we were freaks. But why not get the most out of staying up late before it had to end, right? It was that night that they convinced me to pursue my dream, my goal...as impossible as it seemed, I wanted to.
I was going to join the football team.
No easy task as you can imagine, and I didn't think I would have had an easy task if it weren't for the fact that everyone knew my family were football fanatics, and my two older brothers, Ross and Keith, were once captains at Eastwood High, favorites of the coach. Even my eleven year old brother Adam was extremely talented, and so was I. Every time my brothers and I would go to the park to play football, I would catch every pass and outrun all of them--except for Ross--and I knew I wanted to play football since my freshman year. Of course, being tiny when I began high school, I had to settle for track instead, which in my opinion aided my football playing. My lugs developed and became used to heavy breathing, my legs were able to endure pain, and I had stamina.
Now I was ready.
When Mr. Pierce, the football coach, saw how talented I was at catching passes, and when he saw that I wasn't as small as I used to be (okay, 5'4" is still small), he gave me a chance. The chance of a lifetime. I joined the football team beginning my junior year.
Fast forward to February.
"Are you wearing makeup?"
I shut my locker and looked at Karen. "Remind me what that is again, please," I said jokingly.
Miley laughed and looked at me closely. "Nope, she's not. You're beautiful without it anyways, Chloes."
I hated when people called me beautiful because first of all I knew they were lying and secondly it's all vanity so who cares. Even though I knew I had a slender figure, long wavy brown locks, and hazel eyes, I wouldn't call that beautiful.
Someone with black hair caught my eye as they walked passed me.
Jimmy.
He was the epidemy of a ladies man. He knew he had it and he could get any girl he wanted. Why he never had a steady relationship throughout high school was beyond me. His last girlfriend was a pretty curvy blonde, Brittney, who also happened to be the cheer captain. Pretty cliche, huh, since he happened to be the captain quarterback.
I was his main man, or girl, when it came to football. I was his main receiver because I caught every ball that flew my way and Jimmy knew he could count on me.
