I groan as I run around my room, dodging heaps of dirty clothes, and tossing a few stray pieces into a nearby clothes basket. My is in mind in a panicked and frustrated frenzy! I have absolutely nothing to wear! All of the clothes are either too small, dirty, or something I wouldn't dare wear, not even to save my life!
I allow a gigantic sigh to bubble from my lips. Well, I guess it is time to turn things around, and go scavenging in the one place I have not checked. I slowly begin to close in on my closet door, the thing could have an angry family of mice living with it's wooden confines, and I wouldn't even know it! I pass my well used wooden dresser, the place where I kept all of the clothes that I actually wore. Sadly, it was empty at the moment, and the cause of all my frustration.
I reach over and touch the bronze doorknob, and a shiver runs down my spine. The thing was practically frozen! The most likely culprit being the cold Canadian weather I am forced to endure. I pushed the knob anyways, opening the door. I had to find something to wear, and hopefully something warm as my friends and I were planning on walking over to the local Dairy Queen, despite the frozen winterland outside the door. There was no way the tank top and shorts I had slept in would cut for going outside in the chilly Canadian weather.
The wooden closet door opens with a shrill shriek, making me want to plug my ears and simply run away from the dark abyss within, but I stand strong! Everyone was coming to pick me up in a few minutes, and I had to be dressed and ready! So far, I was clad in pajamas, and stressing for time.
Flipping my long chocolate brown hair over my shoulder and out of the way, I began to rummage around, pushing coats on hangers, and rummaging through clothes baskets on the carpeted floor. Soon enough, my pale hands find something... Soft?
Fixing my green eyes on the object, my hands pull back with all their might, yanking whatever I had found free from the harsh grasp of the clothes bin. My eyes widen in anticipation, and I turn my grass green gaze towards the clothing item I had yanked free.
It was a hoodie. A old, baggy, worn hoodie. Lint balls practically clung to the thing, making me avert my eyes. There was no way I could go out in such a thing! It was a incredibly worn pullover hoodie from a few years ago, the black fabric had the iconic pikachu on the front. The only the thing was, some of the design had faded, leaving the pikachu with sickly looking cracks along his body.
I avert my eyes and hold the horrid thing at arms length. This thing looked like my dog had chewed it up! But at least it was something. It may be old, but at least it didn't smell like I bathed the thing in sweat. I quickly brush my hair as I pull the sweater over the tank top I had slept in, making sure that it too, didn't smell like I ran a marathon while wearing it. After that, I rummage around in the closet a little more to find a pair of old jeans. Luckily, had no rips in slight and still managed to fit me, even after a year or two!
Well, at least I managed to improve my jean collection from this experience! A bright smile appears on my face as I look around the room, finding my wallet and placing it within the convenient pocket in the front was an easy task. I was now ready to get my fast food on!
"Well, at least it isn't terrible." I smile again, feeling how comfy the old thing was. Despite the few holes in the cuffs, and worn pikachu.
It was also incredibly cozy! Meaning it was just the thing I could wear for my little outing into the Canadian chill. The once overly baggy sleeves actually stopped before my fingertips, making me happy that I wouldn't walk around looking like Ene. I huff as look myself in the mirror. I gotta' say, I look a lot better in this baggy old thing than I originally thought I would.
The doorbell rings and I excitedly rush towards the door. A warm smile spread on my face as my dorky friends notice the pikachu. I laugh along side them as I tell the story of the clothing struggles. I then have a realization, that maybe this old thing really isn't so bad?

AN
Okay, that was just a little writing prompt I and done. I am planning on doing more of theses, so hopefully I can improve my writing skill.
I am trying out a new style, paragraph style, and first person perspective. I am a bigger fan of third person perspective, but I guess that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Please tell me if there is anything you think I should work on, I am really only writing this so I can improve.
Thanks, bye!
(Note. All chapters will be different from each other. Different styles, different prompts, trying out new things. This is simply practice. No writing/posting schedule. No real plot thing... :D)
