the plan

Chase went down for dinner to clear his thoughts and also with a purpose to ask his so called parents about the shits he just discovered.

At the table, his mom and dad are already discussing about the trip that took place earlier for his father. His brother is also there but he can see that he's annoyed to death because of his presence.

"So, how's school today Chase?" His mom asked genuinely interested about his day. And Chase being Chase, couldn't lie.

"I believe i was abducted earlier by strange men while i was at the school grounds. Then, there were two strangers telling me that i'm not Chase Knoll but some royalty from a different world and they've been in search for centuries now. At first i don't believe them but then... there's this gut feeling that they're really telling me the truth because of the connection i feel whenever i look at this emblem."

Chase showed the emblem from his pocket and saw how his mom gasped. He just doesn't know if the shock was from his choice of words or from the emblem.

Then, out of a sudden..his brother throws fits of laughter...

"What the fuck big bro??!! Are you literally out of your freaking mind?? Told you geniuses suck and become retards at some point of their lives!! Hahahaha... that was one heck of a story you made up!!"

And his brother didn't stop laughing at his face while his mom and dad looked at one another with recognition in their eyes. He caught a glimpse of it. He remained serious while his brother laughed hysterically like a maniac.

Then, out of the blue his dad stood up. "Chase, come with me."

Chase followed his dad but looked first at his mom who now has concerned eyes. She followed her gaze to them and continued eating afterwards.

Meanwhile, Elioth and Mystique are having serious thoughts on what to do now that the enemy have found them and the prince.

"We must give a try to the portal Chase assembled." Elioth said matter of factly.

"But you heard him... he doesn't even know what he built." Mystique is still doubtful and hurt at the same time.. Chase would never remember her and she doesn't know whether that's a good thing or not.

"We must atleast try. The prince doesn't remember anything but that doesn't mean his subconscious doesn't. He created the portal and i believe he'll eventually know how to use it."

Yeah..as if he could get out of his schocked state right now Elioth..

But Mystique wasn't able to voice her thoughts out because they heard footsteps going to the room they're now in.

"Talk about wierd ha..it's not all the time i could make some fun out of my freakishly nerd brother....yeah yeah..i know right?!. You should have heard him say how he was abducted by so called strange shadows..it's really something straight out from movies...hahahhahaa..."

Then a door closed. That's the time both of them finally released the breath they've held since they heard the footsteps.

So, Chase has already told his family about what happened. Now...what do we do with them??humans must not know the existence of the underworld...it will only put matters from worse to worst...

Elioth was very busy to his thoughts that he didn't notice Mystique's sudden stance. She became very attentive and almost snarled when a sudden glow came from outside the window...

It couldn't be...

"Chase, i want you to know that your mom and i are very sorry for keeping things from you. It's just that..when you came to us, you have forgotten who you were and literally don't know where you're from... but since that day, we already knew you're not from here... you wore this and the only thing you remember is that your name is Chase..."

His dad gave him clothes that's obviously being worn inside a castle but due to old age and blood stains, it looked thrashed out... but anyone who sees it can instantly say that it belongs to royalty.

Then something caught his eyes...the embroidered logo at the chest is the same as the emblem...yes...the clan's emblem...

*blagsh*

'Chase..we need to go..now.."
Mystique barged in unannouncec and dragged Chase out of the room. He saw his dad and tried to release himself from the strong grip of the lady but ge couldn't.

"Wait!!! I'm still talking to my dad!! You cannot just go here and drag me wherever you want because i still have to ask my family if they know any of these.!!"

"Stop being a crybaby and activate the portal!! Elioth's trying a spell to eliminate their memories of you in this house already so don't bother thinking about them..."

Mystique told him with such urgency but her words cut him deep...

"What do you mean erase my memories??!! What the heck are you talking about??!!"

Mystique was startled for a while but regain composure when a shadow appeared behind Chase and tried to snatch him away. It's a good thing she's quick..

"Activate the portal now or all of them will die because of you.."

Mystique told Chase with deadly emotionless eyes... without second thoughts..Chase looked at the portal he built and unknowingly activated it...

"Going somewhere, are we??"

"Scar...you shouldn't be in here..." Elioth snarled from behind and signaled for the protector to go into the portal...

She complied right away ang dragged a lifeless Chase inside...

"Sacrificing again for the fallen kingdom Elioth??you and i both know it won't last til the new era of rulers and bloodline reign in the underworld.."

"I know..but i have a promise i'm bound to do before i die...and i'll do it no matter what the cost is.."

"Well then... you must know your fortune by now..since the prince has returned..you must know that your promise to the King is finally fulfilled.."
Then Scar laughed maniacly and shadows appeared beside him..

"Not yet Scar..not yet...see you in the underworld..."

Then Elioth jumped inside the portal and it immediately closed...

"Nooooooooo!!"

Scar phased back and forth while waiting for his queen's response towards his failed attempt to kill the heir..

"You idiot!!!!! Why did you let them go back here!!! They're only three in number and yet you couldn't kill them!!!!how stupid are you to even let it happen!!!!"

"Marciela!!!" A booming voice from the background was heard..it was him..the one who planned everything...the one behind this chaos in the underworld... the one who raised him and called him his son..the wisest man who ever lived..his father...

"Go back now Scar..you've done enough..now let me execute my plan and end it all here..well done my son..."

And then in a blink of an eye..Scar and his troops of shadows are in the deserted forest of the underworld...
