"I'm Adrian." he said holding his hand out for me to shake. " I'm Mya." I replied, taking his hand. He smiled at me again and I couldn't help but smile back. For a moment, we both just stood there smiling at each other, until someone behind us cleared their throat. I quickly let his hand go, remembering that Jaz was standing behind us. "Oh, this is my best friend, Jaz." i told Adrian. "Nice to meet you" he said , shaking her hand. She lightly smiled and turned to me. "I'll be at the food court. You want your usual, right?" I shook my head and she started to walk off, but not before turning around and smirking at me. I playfully rolled my eyes and turned back to Adrian.

"So...are you from here?" I asked him. "Yeah, I live over in Brentwood, and I go to West Taylor High. How about you?" "I live in Eagle's Landing, and I go to McKinley." I told him. "You go to McKinley? Are you a cheerleader?" he asked.  I slightly frowned wondering how he knew that. "Yeah, how'd you know?" He chuckled. "I remember seeing you at one of the games, when you guys beat us. I actually play basketball." I looked over his face again and laughed. "Oh yeah! I remember you now." He smiled, which made me smile. "How could you forget a face like this?" I laughed at his cockiness. "You know, I'd really like to see you again. If that's okay with you." he said. "Yeah, that'd be cool." I smiled at him, which made him smile. Again. Jesus, his smile is perfect!

After exchanging numbers, I said goodbye to Adrian and headed towards the food court to find Jaz. I found her sitting alone, with both of our plates in front of her. I quickly pulled out my phone and took her picture, for future purposes. I made my way over and she started clapping. "Finally, I'm starving. It took you guys forever." she rambled on as she opened her plate and dug in. I did the same, doing a little happy dance in my seat. Orange chicken and rice was my weakness. "It actually didn't. We just talked about where we were from, he said he wanted to see me again, and we exchanged numbers." I shrugged. "Mhmm.....you sure that's  all that happened?" she smirked. "I'm not even about to try and figure out what's going on in your little twisted mind." we laughed. I swear she's crazy.

After eating, talking, and doing a little more shopping, we both were tired. I dropped Jaz off at home and headed to my house. I walked in and saw my sister Kylie watching tv , and my mom in the kitchen. "Hey sissyyyyyy!!!" I squealed, sitting on her lap. She started laughing and trying to push me off. "Hey crazy, will you get off me now?" I chuckled, getting off her lap and heading to the kitchen. "Hey mommy" . "Hey love. Where'd you go today?" she kissed my cheek. "To the mall with Jaz." I said, pointing to the 9 bags i brought home. "And what did you bring me?" I was silent because I really didn't get her anything. She just laughed, which caused me to laugh. "I was just kidding honey, your dad's taking me next weekend." I laughed because I knew that dad would be extremely tired next weekend, my mom loved to shop.

After talking to my mom a little while longer, I headed upstairs. I was so exhausted, I climbed straight into bed. Just as i was about to close my eyes, my phone vibrated under the covers. I picked it up, looking at the message i just received.
