I smiled sheepishly reading the message from Adrian.

Myaa💋 : nothing, just laying down.

Myaa💋 : yesss😣, i was just about to go to sleep.

After reading his last message, I drifted off to sleep, smiling like crazy.
The next day, i woke up with no plans in particular. Jaz was working, Kylie went on a mini vacay with her friends' family, Dad was on a business trip, and mom was working as well. Leaving me with absolutely nothing to do. Grabbing my self some juice and a yogurt cup from the fridge, i plopped down on the couch and decided to call Jay. I had woken up over in the night to pee and my mind instantly drifted off to Adrian, which began to make me feel guilty. I have a boyfriend! I shouldn't be giving my number out to other guys. I would just have break things off with Adrian before things got too far. Jay didn't answer , either time might i add, so i decided to just sit around and watch cartoons. Do not judge me, but Teen Titans Go is my absolute fav. idc, idc. After awhile, i heard my phone ringing. I figured it was just Jay calling back, so i answered without checking who it was.
Mya: Hello?
?: Hey, good morning gourgeous.
The voice sounded nothing like Jay, which made me pull the phone back away from my ear, only to see "ZaddyA👀💦 " across the screen. I playfully rolled my eyes at the name he saved his number under.
Mya: Good morning Adrian.
I heard him moan softly, what was that for?
Mya: Are you okay?
Adrian: Yeah, it's just the way you said my name. I liked it.
I giggled at his response, it's too early for him to be this silly.
Adrian: What are you doing today?
Mya: nothing really, everyone is either gone or busy.
Adrian: Why don't you hang with me?
Mya: Umm...I don-
Adrian: We could go to Stars and Strikes. I heard it's really fun.
He had me then. I had been wanting to go to Stars and Strikes since they opened about a month ago. It's kinda like Dave and Busters.
Mya: Sure, why not?!
Adrian: Cool, I'll pick you up around 1. Text me your address?
I looked over at the clock seeing it was almost 12.
Mya: okay, i will. See you later.
Adrian: Alright love.
To say i was nervous was an understatement. Was this a date? Did I want it to be? Should I even be going? What if Jay found out? I shook all those thoughts from my head. I just have to explain to Adrian and Jay that there's nothing between me and Adrian. We're just friends. Right?
I went upstairs, jumping in the shower. I couldn't decide on what Bath & Body works scent to use. After awhile of debating in my head, I just decided to go with "Georgia Peach & Sweet Tea" (SB: Yoo...this is real a scent yall. I was highly disappointed when they discontiued it 😭) After showering, got out and lotioned myself with the same scent and rushed over to my closet. Another hard decision- what to wear. As you can see, it takes me a while to make up my mind about anything. I picked something simple, thinking that it would be easier to let Adrian know wassup if i looked like plain jane.

After finishing my makeup, i heard the doorbell. I grabbed my phone and wallet and headed downstairs. I opened to door revealing someone I didn't expect.
"What are you doing here Jay?" He grinned as if I had said something funny. "I can't come see you now babygirl?" I rolled my eyes as he slid past me inside the house. "Well you didn't answer any of my phone calls earlier." "I was busy, damn. " he mumbled, typing away on his phone. I closed the door and he was directly in front of me when I turned around. When did he even move ? "You looking good, where you bout to go?" he smirked, wrapping his arms around my waist. "Out." i simply replied, making him let me and earning a frown from him. "You getting smart?" "No" I mumbled. I wasn't afraid of him or anything, I just didn't want him pressuring me about this...outing with Adrian. GOD ADRIAN! I hope he doesn't show up while Jay was here. "You have to leave and Im about to get going." "I just got here, you can't chill with me?" "No, I have somewhere to be and my parents don't like it when we're here alone. " It wasn't entirely a lie, my parents didn't like us here when their not. They don't like him here when they are. As a matter of fact, they don't like him at all. "Fine, whatever." He replied, slamming the door behind him to complete his dramatic exist. I rolled my eyes and sighed. Only to hear the doorbell ring again, scaring me. This time, it was Adrian at the door. My mood was instantly lifted. Wow, he has that affect on me already? I smiled while opening the door for him. "Wassup woe?" he said, pulling me into a hug and making my smile spread even wider, if possible. He was so goofy, i loved it. "Hey" i managed to get out through a fit of giggles. Which only made him smile. DEAR LORD BABY JESUS, THAT SMILE. "You ready to head out?" "Yeah", i replied. I walked out closing and locking the door behind me and we started walking towards his car. "You look amazing by the way." He said while grabbing my hand. I forced out a "thanks". That was not what i was going for.
Breaking things off is gonna be wayyyyyy harder than i thought.
