Waking up with a numb arm and an elbow shoved into my stomach, was not what I would call a great start to the day.
However, opening my eyes to see a nest of red hair on the pillow besides me, and pale skin peeking from between black clothing; that, was something I could get used to.
During the night, Olivia's shirt had ridden up, so that a good section of her slim stomach was exposed. I found myself move my free arm so that I could trace the delicate patterns of flames across her skin. It's softness caused me to smile slightly, still blinking back the sleep in my eyes.
After a moment of doing this, I looked back up at her, to see her watch me with a bemused expression.
"Subtle," She commented with a smirk, biting her lip slightly.
Let's just say at this time of the morning, that action was not appreciated. Or, rather, it could be that it was appreciated too much.
"Well, you know me," Turning as I spoke, I stretched myself out, so that I was laying on my stomach. One of my hands was still pressed against the bare skin of her hip. "Hey, it's nice to see you stayed this time,"
Blushing, Olivia looked away briefly, running a hand through her dishevelled hair in one swift movement.
"I didn't want to go," She whispered quietly, curling in on herself. "I had to,"
"Why's that?" I asked her, confusion filling my mind. She looked up at me and let out a slight sigh, before finally looking up.
"I didn't trust myself around you,"

Olivia's P.O.V:
From where I was sat, I could see Nathan's mum; she had her body faced towards the television, but her eyes kept flickering over to where we were sat.
I was on one side, perched awkwardly on the edge with my legs crossed, and he was sat the other side, pretending that he was watching what was on the screen, although his blank facial expression said otherwise.
For an hour, I had been sat with Nathan's family watching some Disney film I'd never seen before; mind, that said, I hadn't really seen any.
Yes, my childhood sucked.
"Ariel, what's your favourite food?" Nathan's sister spoke from where she sat on the floor, not looking up from the TV. For a moment, I was silent, thinking that she was speaking to the television, but then Nathan hit me with his foot, causing me to finally click.
"Oh, who, me?" I asked, feeling colour creep into my face. The girl looked up at me with a giggle, her eyes scrunched up as her cheeks lifted.
"Who else?" She asked, before turning back to her film.
"I don't know..." Turning to Nathan for help, I sighed. He simply laughed at me, sharing an equally scrunched up look as his sister had. "Pizza?"
For a moment, the girl was silent. She turned to look at me, with a slight nod, and glanced at her older brother. "You can keep her," She stated flatly, and continued to look at the screen.
I blinked, looking up at Nathan to see him smile at me - a big toothy grin.
He was so cute.
The truth was, I didn't trust myself with him. As much as it may seem, I do have a little self respect, and well... It would go against everything my dad stand's for anyway.
Jesus, now you're using your dad as an excuse?
You're just scared.
Maybe.
"When did Logan said that he would be over?" I asked Nathan, ignoring the blatant glare I got from his mother. She clearly took a shine to me.
Nathan glanced at his watch. "Half an hour ago?"
I sighed.
"Where are you guys going?" Looking up, I forced a small smile in the general direction of Nathan's mum. She returned my smile, but like my own, it didn't reach her eyes.
Nathan shrugged slightly, his toe still pressed against my side.
At that moment, the living room door swung open, revealing a ridiculously large boy who was dressed similarly to a parrot. He tipped a hand towards Nathan.
"Dick head," He greeted his friend, before turning to look at me, his mouth opening slightly. "Not dick head,"
Nathan's mum coughed, causing Logan to look up to her.
"Mother of dick head says can you stop swearing," She said quietly, fixing the boy with a look. I tried to stop myself from laughing, as Logan turned a vibrant shade of pink, his eyes wide. "Good morning, Logan,"
"Hi Mrs Oslow," He murmured, looking down at his feet. As he spoke, I could have sworn the woman had whispered 'Ms' under her breath. "Brah's, are you coming?"
"Christ," I muttered, standing up from my uncomfortable seat on the sofa, walking out the door and saying a goodbye to Nathan's mother as I left.
Once I got out the house, it was a few moments till the boys followed me.
If it was a nice day, the sun would have cast awesome shadows across the floor, blinding me as I left the Oslow household.
It just sucked that black clouds masked the light from the sun.
"So where to, ginge?" Turning, I shot Logan a look, my eyebrows disappearing behind my hair. He looked sheepishly at his friend, rubbing the back of his neck with a hand. "I'm sorry, okay..."
"We are still not on friend terms," I stated, knowing that he wasn't just apologising for the name.
Blushing, he stayed silent.
Nathan looked at me, an almost guilty look on his face as he began to walk forward.
"How about the park?" He suggested, as we followed him.
Thinking for a moment, I shook my head slightly.
"Do you guys have any cash on you?" I asked them, getting looks from both as if I had just asked the most stupid question ever. Grinning, I began walking the opposite direction, my hips swinging slightly.
"Where are we going then?" Nathan asked, once he had caught up with me from his brief pause.
I glanced sidewards to him, watching as Logan joined him at my side.
"We're taking a rebellious trip back home, boys,"
Author's Note:
