-michaels pov-

I woke up, looking around the room. I actually had a good dream. Wow. Checking my phone, I saw that the time was 11:34 am. It would be 12:34 where Luke was.

I pulled my phone off the charger, and opened Kik. I actually had a message from Calum. I was surprised.

Hey Michael. I'm sorry. I love you. No homo.

I sighed.

I told him I love him too and he asked me to call him. I did and we decided to meet up in an hour. I sighed, getting up to go get ready.

We hadn't talked in over a week, not even at school. So I wondered why he suddenly wanted to talk to me. When I finished getting ready, I had 10 minutes to get to the park where we were meeting up. Oh well, he could wait since it was a 15 minute walk. I left and tried to hurry, but still I took 12 minutes. I was two minutes late. Great.

I saw calum sitting on a bench and walked over there, sitting by him and saying hi. He immediately wrapped his arms around my neck tightly and I sighed as tears started to fall down his cheeks. "Michael, I missed you so much" he sniffled. "I missed you too" I told him. He sighed and looked into my eyes.

"Are you okay?" I asked him. He shook his head. "What's wrong?" I asked, hugging him gently. "He- he's back." He stuttered. "Who's back?" I asked. "Ryan." He squeaked.

"WHAT!?" I demanded. Calum nodded into my chest. "My mom took him back." He cried. "Fuck Cal. I'm so fucking sorry." I said, wrapping my arms around him again.

"She says he's changed. She- she said he's different and that he's sorry." He told me. "Has he?" I asked, looking into his eyes. "No." He whispered, before looking at his arm. I breathed before looking at his arm, noticing the bruise on it.

"Oh my god. I'll kill him. I will." I said, tears starting to go down my face. My phone went off but I ignored it. "No Michael." He sighed. "Calum you're my best friend. And you didn't do anything to him. Ever. You don't deserve it." I tried to hold back tears. "At least its not my mom or sister." He shrugged. I sighed. How could I argue with that?

I'd rather you watch your mom/sister get beat up by your step father?

"I'd rather it just be none of you." I told him. He sighed. "That won't happen so it might as well be me." He said, playing with his fingers. "Calum, you don't deserve it. None of you do." I told him. "Well he wouldn't stop ever so... It should be me instead of one of them. I deserve it more than them." He sniffed.

"Cal, none of you deserve it in the slightest." I argued. "Michael, just, can we talk about something else?" He asked. I nodded. "How have you been?" He asked me. I shrugged. "Okay I guess." I replied. "Has Luke been nice?" He asked. I nodded. "That's good" he said. His tears were starting to end. "Yeah" I said.

"Have you guys like skyped or anything?" He asked. I nodded. "Twice." I smiled. He smiled back. "Good. You really like him." He said. I nodded. "Yeah. I do." I blushed. "How much do you know about him?" He asked. I shrugged. "Like his favorite things, his family, his age, basic stuff." I answered. He nodded. "I told him about you." I mentioned. He tensed up a bit. "W- what'd you say?" He asked. "That you're my best friend and I love you." I answered. He relaxed. "Okay." He approved. I smiled.

Calums phone started ringing and he grabbed it, answering almost immediately after checking the name. He was silent for a minute, listening to the other person talk. All I could hear was a crying girl. He sighed.

"Calm down. I can't understand you." He said. A few seconds later, he dropped the phone before he picked it back up. "I'm on my way." He said, saying bye to me and leaving.

Sorry guys but you learned a little about Calum. I guess.
