Chapter IV: Change

Raniya Pov
You ready? Tyrease asked me.
Yeah help me up, nigga you see im big as a house. I smarted off.
Ugh, you not dont say that! he said to me with some base in his voice.
I began to cry, but I didnt know why.
Tyrease: Why you crying baby girl he said rubbing my belly and kissing my forehead.
Me:I dont know its your kids there making me emotional ugghh I cant do this shit, real niggas dont cry I said hitting my chest like I was tough
Tyrease only laughed and helped me up
Me: Just bare with me I said getting off of the hospital bed
Tyrease:You know Im always here for you he said grabbing my hand and walking me out of the door
Me:Yeah I know but where's Jakey? He was suppose to be there when I got out.
Tyrease: Umm he texted me saying he was running late and and that he'd meet us at the house okay?
Me: Alright I said as he opened the car door waiting for me to get in. It seams like ever since I saw the babies in my stomach something inside of me had changed, and for the better.
Jakey Pov
So I was on my way to go with Tyrease to pick up my lil sis when I got a call from one of my guys saying there was a problem with our shipment and he need a little asistance so I was on it immediately.
But let me back back a little so Im Jayvon but everybody on the south side know me as Chief Jakey Im 18 years old and Ive been on my own since 15 I never really knew Raniya until about six years ago since our father had like a half a dozen kids with different babymoms none us really knew each other. But since then nothing could separate us, nothing. About a year and a half ago I brough Niya into the buisness and it really took off for here about nine months ago since I went to jail she took over everything for me from location to new turf. She did great but I just got about three months ago and now Ima let her have some rest. But Im 6'2 darkskinned with long dreads, and Im a straight up G period no questions about it.
But after I finshed up with my buisness I went to Niya and Tyrease's and thats when I saw Niya lame ass ex RJ and I noticed Tyrease's car was gone so I knew some shit was up so I decided to step back, sit in the car and wait a little to see what was going down or who I had to shoot up in this bitch.
Raniya Pov
So I got home and Tyrease said he had to make a run and he'd be bach in three hours so I invited RJ over so we could talk.
*Knock Knock*
I opened the door because I already knew who it was.
Me: So wassuh
RJ: Nothing much I just came to talk
Me:Huh well come in then I guess. I said letting him in I sat on the sofa and told him to have a seat in the recliner across the room so we could talk.
RJ Pov
When I got a text feom Raniya saying I shoukd come over I knew this was my chance to make things right at least even if we didnt get back together at that moment I still wanted some type of friendship because she was so amazing.
Me:Okay I said while sitting in the recliner
Raniya:Hmmm sooo.
Me: Yeah well let me start off by saying Im sorry for everything that I've put you through.
Raniya: Well I dont hold gurdges so I forgive you but, I have a question
Me:Yeah ask me anything.
Raniya: So why?
I could haves aid why what to get out of the situation but I decided not to and just answered her
Me:Beacause I was scared of loving you so much and I wanted to hurt you before you hurt ke like every other women did.
I saw a tear come to her eye so I got up and sat next to her
Raniya: Listen Im not your mother RJ I promise you I wouldnt have hurt you but its to latw for that now. She said turning her head whiping away her tears
Me: I know I know I realize that. Thats why I need you back ma I missed you so much
She only looked in my eyes and got up walking toward the door so I gtabbed her arm and kissed her
*Bang*
The door flew up and she snatched away and turned away from me walking toward whoever had walked in
Raniya:Ughh. Hey Jakey. She said giving her brother a hug who just stared at me
Jakey:What you doing here? He said touching the lump on his waist which I already knew was a gun
I touched my back and I got up
Me:Umm I was just leaving.
Raniya: Umm we'll habe to talk again you know umm another time.
Me:Okay. I said giving her a hug
I whispered in her ear as we hugged
Me:I love you
I didnt really exspect for her to say it back however. She only snatched back from the hugged and turned the other way but I knew she still love me because our kiss was like the world stoped all at one time.
Jakey Pov
Me: Umm okay what I thought bye nigga
He just evil eyed me and left out the door I made sure to slam it on his ass
Me:So why the fuch you got thag lame ass nigga in here
Raniya: Ugg dont do this not now.
Me: What the fuck you mean not now Moneé!!!?
I only called her that when I was pissed, which I was.
Raniya: Fuck you!! I domt need this shit right now Im going through a lot you insensitive ass hole!!!!
Thats when she throw upand ran to the kitche,I instantly felt bad
Me: Niya Im sorry, I just worry about youI said holding her her and rubbing her back as she vomitted.
She got up went to the bathroom and brushed her teeth.
Raniya: Its okay Jayvon(which she only called me when we were alone) I know you care but Im not a little girl Im going to be a mother soon and you need to ease up a little and trust me alright?
I nodded in agrement just to make her happy even though I didnt really mean it
She graggled with mouth wash, spit and gave me a hug.
Raniya: Okay boo I love you
Me:I love you more
She hugged me again and kisses me on the check like the innocent little girl I once knew. I though to myself about how much she had changed over the last six years.
