[Quan Mo Ran]
When all was quiet. Mo Ran straightened and put his arm behind his back. "Fellow Jing people! I know these years you have suffered a lot. You were beaten, scolded, sold like cattle. But that was before I returned. Now, I have returned. I assure you, we will have our freedom! We will gain back what is rightfully ours! We will no longer be slaves to others but free!"
When the people heard this they started to roar and clap. The clapping went on for minutes. When it finally died down, Mo Ran cleared his throat. "Today, we are gathered here to tell the Yan that we are people too! We are a force to be reckoned with!" More screaming. More yelling. More clapping.
"The emperor has sold our children, taken our property, and made us slaves. Today, we will fight! We will fight for the freedom of our future generations! We will conquer the Yan people and we will show them who is in charge! Now, my fellow Jing, it will be a hard fight, but right now, more than ever, we need each other. Are you, willing to pick up your swords, pitchforks, or whatever you have and fight beside me? As the prince of the former Jing dynasty, I call upon you, my beloved people to take a stand against this tyranny! From this hell, we will create a bloody path until we gain freedom!"
"We will follow you! We will follow you! We will follow you!" the crowd changed on and on.
"Then let us set out! We shall kill any Yan we see! We shall avenge our brothers, sisters, fathers, and mothers!" Mo Ran unsheathed his sword and pointed to the front.
"Let us set off!" He led the way. Crowds of people grabbed whatever weapon they had and followed him. Today, we will get our revenge. No more waiting.
[Shi Han Jun]
An enuch entered the palace room. Bowing in front of the Emperor, he said, "You Majesty, Third Prince requests an audience."
"He accomplished the mission quicker than I thought. Xuān." The Emperor said, still holding his book up.
Han Jun walked in. "Er Chen cān jiàn Fu Huang." He brought his arms to chest, made his finger tips touch, and bowed his head.
The Emperor lightly threw his book on the table in front of him. "Miǎn lǐ."
"Xiè Fu Huang."
Han Jun straightened.
"You've returned. I'm assuming you were able to obtain the Yan Gu."
"You have guessed correctly, Fu Huang. I do have the Yan Gu. Please take a look," Han Jun, using both hands held out the quarter piece of jade necklace. He bowed his head.
The Emperor nodded to the Eunuch that stood beside him. The Enuch hobbled to Han Jun and took the necklace in both hands. He hobbled back, carefully not to drop it. Han Jun straightened and observed the Emperor.
The Emperor took the jade piece in his hand and admired it. A smile crossed his face. "Good. Very good!" He set the jade on the table in front of him.
"Your Majesty! Your Majesty! Bad news!" An Enuch charged into the room.
"What's the matter?"
"A big Jing rebellion has started! They are burning, looting and killing people! The Imperial guards weren't able to surpress them!"
"What?" The Emperor slammed his palms against the table. "The Jing dare to cause trouble in my capital? Seems like I have been too merciful! No, write a letter to General Xiao. Tell him to quickly return to Bei Pan."
"Your Majesty, I'm afraid it will take a couple days for the troops to arrive."
The Emperor slammed his fists on the table.
