[Luo Xiao Zhao]
Xiao Zhao saw a group of men standing to his left. Directly in front of him was a man wearing black and red. The man was holding up a circular jade piece that had yellow, green, blue, and red for each quarter piece.
"Xiao Zhao! How come you're there?"
Xiao Zhao's eyes shifted to a man wearing white. Swords rested close to his neck and held his arms behind his back.
"Xiao Zhao? I am no Xiao Zhao, I am Yue Fu Le."
"What? Xiao Zhao? You don't remember yourself?" The man cried.
A man with a big ugly scar across his face stumbled back. "Wh-what did you say?"
"I am Yue Fu Le."
"Your Majesty," a man near the big ugly scar man said, bowing to show respect. "We should kill them all while we can."
The Emperor clutched his chest. "Fu er. He's my son."
Xiao Zhao turned to the Emperor. "You are the one who killed my mother!"
"I...I'm s-sorry," he said.
"It's a little late for that! I want to kill you!"
He had barely took a step when a sword pierced the Emperor's adoman. Blood squirted from his lips. The blade was pulled out. The Emperor fell to his knees.
"I will kill him for you," a man wearing green and had a golden band in his hair sat in a wooden wheel chair. The sword pointed to the ground.
The Emperor twsited his body around."Wen...er...How..."
He threw the blade on the ground. "Why am I not at the palace?" He wiped his hand with a white piece of cloth. "You thought I would stay at the palace and be the good prince that you always thought I was." He smirked. "What a joke. I suppose you are wondering why I did all this. Come up," he called.
A man wearing a brown robe quickly approached the Second Prince.
"Cao Xin?" the man wearing black in front of him asked.
The man turned to the first man. "Mo Ran, aren't you disappointed that I'm not dead?"
"Why? Was this all a trick?"
Cao Xin smiled. "What do you think?"
"Mo Ran, you can't blame Cao Xin. It was I who came up with the plan," Second Prince said snuggly.
"So all this time, I've been merely a pawn?" Mo Ran asked.
"So what if you were?"
"Wen Er...why?"The Emperor asked.
"Why?" Secoond Prince turned to him, eyes ablaze. "All these years, father... You always looked down on me because of my disability. You never considered me your son, did you? When did you ever say something kind to me or check on me when I was sick? You always took care of First Prince and this bastard," he pointed to Han Jun. The flame of hatred burned in his eyes. "Each year, I would hope that you would at least come and see me once on my brithday. I waited and waited! You never showed up! Even if you had just visited me once and greeted me, I wouldn't be so angry. I would have been the happiest person on earth! I would have dropped my hatred against you! Yet you willingly sacrificed both sons for this treasure and for an outsider who wasn't even your own flesh and bones! You are so cold hearted, Father. Do you really think you don't deserve to die? You would do anything for power! You even killed Empress Yue Yang, your beloved wife! A man who can't even love his own family or take care of them is not worthy to rule!"
