Two weeks later
Ethan came running to me. Happiness and pride engulfing his face. I couldn't remember a time he had been that elated after he got the case.
He was waving papers in the air with his right arm.
"We found the cause of death!" He shouted at the top of his lungs as if it were normal.
"Isn't that one of the first things you know in a murder case?" I asked. He seemed a little confused.
"Well, now we know exactly what happened." A smile crept up his face. He waited for me to say something. And then I did.
"Congrats."
