The doctor sat in his Tardis and read a book on the history of a faraway planet called Salifa. It was quite fascinating to him.

"The surface is made of graphite and the air isn't breathable to most living species. Brilliant, just brilliant." He gushed as he read.

Just then one of the scanners inside the Tardis began to go off making the doctor drop his book.

"Now what could be happening?" The doctor mused and shut off the alarm. He examined the scanner and his eyes went wide.

"Warlifs...on earth!" The doctor urgently began pulling levers and pressing buttons.

He knew how dangerous warlifs could be and the earth was definitely not safe if they were there on the planet. The doctor pulled one last lever and the Tardis began to make noise and then zoomed through time and space.

The Tardis landed on earth New York 2015. The doctor peeked out the door and looked around. The Tardis had parked itself in the middle of a dog park. It seemed like one of New York's smaller towns.

A French poodle walked close to the Tardis and began sniffing. It went to lift it's leg to mark it's territory on the Tardis.

"Oi! Don't get any ideas!" The doctor yelled at the poodle. It quickly scurried away.

The doctor closed his Tardis door and took out his sonic screwdriver. He scanned the area and then examined the screwdriver to see what alien activity it picked up.

"Hmm..." He muttered as he walked to the left and then the right. He scanned the area again and then gasped to himself.

"That way!" He said out loud and ran toward town as fast as he could. He didn't notice people looking at him weird.

The screwdriver had led the doctor to a large brick building. He looked at the sign outside the building which read: "Ms. Stacy's sunshine orphanage".

"Well that doesn't seem too sunshiny does it?" He said to himself and then entered the building. There had to be a reason why he was led here.
