Don't grieve for me for now I'm free. I'm following the path God has choosen for me. I took his hand when I heard him call; I turned my back and left all the pain. I could not stay another day to fake laugh, nor fake smile, to act okay or to even love.
Tasks left undone, must stay that way; I've now found peace at the end of the hurtful day. If my parting has avoid, fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a true loved ones kiss; oh yes these things I too will miss. My life's been full enough, I savored so little, yet enough. Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seems all to brief, don't lenghen your pain with undue grief, for I caused you such pain. Lift your heart and peace to thee, god wanted me, now he set me free.
