Chapter 2

Beep beep beep .
My alarm clock on my phone sounded . Shit ! I forgot to put my phone on the charger last night. I put my phone on the charger grabbed a towel and wash rag an make my way to the bathroom. I start the cold water to try to scrub off the filth from last night . I feel so dirty. I let the water run over my hair and think about what happened last night. I just can't wait for this to be over . I get out the shower and go to Devin's room to get him ready for school.
"Devin my sweet baby wake up it's time to go to school "
"But Niché I'm sleepy . 5 more minutes ? " asked Devin
"Okay but when I come back be ready to get back up ok ? " I said.

He shook his head in argreement . I went back to my room to pick out an out. I wore my floral skater dress with my white sandals. I pulled my hair into a messy bun and started on my makeup . I looked pretty damn good today .
My phone started ringing I saw it was an iMessage from Lanai my bestfriend. She was telling me to hurry up she's on her way . I grabbed my book bag threw it on the couch ,woke up Devin to help him get dressed . We quickly ran down the crooked stairs of our complex to see Lanai listening to Nicki Minaj

Get it lit without a lighter, let's pull an all-nighter / Tell me-tell me what you need, got the weed / I'm a bad little bitch and I never indict her Get locked, I'mma write ya, you on the road? I'mma Skype ya / I don't wanna hype ya, but you a lucky nigga if my mean ass like ya.
I strapped Devin in the back seat while he played with his trucks . I got into the car and started talking to Lanai
"Well don't you look cute today! fuck that you look drop dead gorgeous today bitch " said Lanai
"Wanna watch your mouth in front of my little brother he likes to repeat things but no you look gorgeous I'm a little to ugly lol" I said
Lanai frowned " no your not your a ten . You just always try to cover it up with your hair pull it off of your face more girl "

I'm starting to think she was right anyone can be beautiful you just gotta have the right look . I hope I have it . We pulled up to Devins school and he was in such a rush to get out .
"Woah eager beaver " I said " you can't leave without giving me a kiss "

Devin gave me a bunch of kisses on my face before hugging me and running off inside.
"That's so cute " I turned around to see it was Sebastian. Was he actually talking to me ?
"Excuse me ? Your talking to me ? " I asked.
He chuckled "Of course I'm talking to you . We're the only two out here "
"Oh your right lol thank you "
"More than welcome that's your son ? "
"Nah that's my little brother " I said
"Well that's good" he said with a smirk and reached out his hand and said " My names Sebastian I see you around school sometimes but I never caught your name."

I was mesmerized by his pearly white teeth and sparkling gray eyes that i almost didn't hear him.
I reached out my hand " My names Nichelle. Nice to meet you ."
"Pretty name for a pretty girl." He said
I looked at my phone and it was Lanai telling me to hurry up before were late.
"I'm sorry but I gotta go can't be late " I ran off as he started to say something but I didn't catch it .
I climbed into the front seat and started telling Lanai all about what happened with Sebastian . It took the whole car ride to tell her .

We get to school an walk in together . I got a lot of whistles and hey pretty a from guys and a couple of girls but I paid them no mind I was to worried about getting to class on time.
Lanai and I got to first period Mr.Jones class and sat in the back. Then I see Sebastian walk in. His clean crisp new shoes and outfit complimented his body so well. He must of caught me staring because he said "Something caught your eye ?" I tried to laugh it off but he took a seat next to me.
"I was trying to ask for your number back there but ..." Sebastian was interrupted by Mr.Jones "Excuse me Mr. Carter since your gonna interrupt my lesson why don't you stand up and share ? Hmm " .
He stood up " I was just asking this beautiful lady next to me her number . " and looked down and winked at me . He sat back down . I got a couple of eye rolls from the girls in class I even seen Lanai looking at me side ways but to bad I was feeling to good right now .

I rushed out of class an went on to my next one . The day went by as slow as it came. Finally time for lunch . I sat at the table with Lanai and a bunch of other girls talking while I studied. I felt someone tap my shoulder I kept on reading and every one at the tables loud conversation turned into quiet chatters .
"Excuse me ma . " I turned around to see it was Tre' the best basketball player at our school. "Can I talk to you real quick."
"Uhm sure " I replied . I got my stuff and sat at an empty table with Tre'
"So whassup ? What did you want to speak about "
Tre fell silent for a second then finally spoke "I been thinking bout this for a while and would you go out on a date with me "
I agreed then he stood up and yelled " SIKE YOU DIRTY POOR BITCH I'D NEVER GO OUT WITH YOU . JUST BECAUSE YOU ALL OF A SUDDEN GLO'D UP DOESNT CHANGE THE FACT THAT YOUR MOTHERS A CRACKHEAD AND YOU LIVE IN THAT RAT HOLE " he spat in my face and threw his lunch . I've never been so embarrassed in my life . I ran out the cafeteria, I heard someone following me. It was Lanai . She didn't have to say anything I just cried on her shoulder . When I finished cleaning up . I had seen Tre' and Sebastian in the hallway. Sebastian walked up to Tre' and started beating him up . I run over there to tell him to stop .

Tre' was fucked up badly." I came over here to tell her I was paid to do it and it was a prank but fuck it now . Fuck the both of yall " he said as he spat blood and walked away .

I wonder why Sebastian did that for me. The class bell interrupted my thoughts . And once again I was off running before Sebastian could say something.
