Alexandra P.O.V1 week before school:
I sat in the car looking over my supply list. I wasn't sure If I was ready to be squeezed into the congested store. We couldn't find a parking space so we had to park so far from the entrance. I heard the car stop.
I had barley put my hand on the door, when my mom was already out of the car and speed walking to Staples. Today I didn't feel like walking it was such a drag especially on a Monday. I had to jog to be able to catch up to my mom.
When we finally made it to the entrance I was out of breath. It's really hot in Florida. It's like the sun is trying to melt you.
We managed to squeeze through the glut of people. I have no idea why people leave things to the last minute I guess it because there to lazy. I shouldn't judge though, I'm one of those people.
"What's next on the list?" my mother asked.
"Ummm..." I scanned threw the paper that contained a list of things I needed; when all of a sudden it was snatched away.
"I can't do anything with you. Is it really that hard to tell me what's next?" my mother exclaimed.
Pfft it's not my fault that shes to busy to get my school supplies earlier. I looked around trying to find a composition book.
I wasn't looking were I was going and smack! I ran into a pole. It hurt like hell. I grabbed my head and saw blood. Great I always have to be clumsy and do something stupid.
"Are you ok?" I looked to the side and saw the only person I wouldn't have imagined seeing. My crush. Luke Wilson. He was just standing there with worry all over his face. Was I dreaming?
"Oh umm yea. Don't worry about it. I'm fine." My head began to spin and I felt dizzy. I wobbled all over the place.
I tripped over my own to feet but was caught by a pair of strong arms. I began to blush.
"Eh thanks. You can let go now." He slowly let go, allowing me to get back on my own two feet.
"Are you sure you don't need any help?" He looked at me with concern. I looked away.
"Mmm sure." He wrapped his arm around my waist and lead me threw the store until we finally got to the bathroom.
"I'm just going to clean your wound." He grabbed some paper towels and wet them in the sink.
"Mkay." He lightly dabbed my cut and cleaned it up. Damn this really must be a dream. I pinched myself. Ouch! Nope definitely not a dream.
"How did you hit yourself anyways?" He threw away the towels and washed his hands.
"Eh It happens a lot." He smiled.
"You must be really clumsy." I pouted.
"It's not my fault I was born like this." He began to laugh. My face lightly turned pink.
"Lets get you back. Your parents must be worried.""Pfft I doubt it." He smiled again.
As we walked around the store searching for my mom; we talked about different things.
"I never got your name." He looked at me waiting for an answer.
"Oh Alexandra Karren."*************************
