Mate?!

*Shadow's POV*

-Tuesday, August 2nd-

I grabbed Fates arm and dragged her into the girls bathroom. "Fate, I think he's my mate." I stated looking around to make sure no one was listening. Fates eyes shot open, then she started to laugh. "him? I thought he was a tub of lard when I first saw him!" I rolled my eyes. "Whatever, but, I don't even know him. how is he supposed to be my mate?" Fate shrugged her shoulders. "Dunno." She admitted right before the bell rang. "see you in second period!" I shouted as I ran down the hall.

*Violet's POV*
"Ok class, today we have two new students." he announced gestering towards Matthew and I. "Nice to meet you all!" I shouted. I heard a bunch of murmurs erupt from the class. I could only hear a few.
-Freak
-What the hell?
And
-Is she high?
I looked down and quietly made my way to my seat, as well as Matthew. Probably imbaressed to have me as a sister.

*Matthew's POV*
I'm embarrassed to have her as a sister. I wish sapphire, my other sister, was in this class. I sat down and the first thing I saw was the girl from before. ~Damn it! She probably thinks I'm an idiot now!~ I thought then quickly looked away when I saw her start to turn her head towards me. Just avoid eye contact and everything will be fi- "ok, today you are all going to pick a partner for a project. I'm not letting you pick because last time it was a disaster." he walked to the other side of the room and picked up a jar of Popsicle stick with peoples names on them. he added two with Vi and my name on them then shook the jar.

He went on until it got to me.
"Riley and Violet. and finally...
Matthew and Shadow." My heart skipped a beat and I sunk deeper into my chair.

~So much for avoiding eye contact.~
