The project

*Shadows' POV*

-Wednesday, August 3rd-

~And...Matthew and Shadow~ I think I just died inside. Well, this is just great. This guy is supposedly my mate and now I have to do a project with him. And... About him!! JUST PEACHY! A few hours later the bell rang and I met up with Fate for lunch.

"So... tell me! what am I doing in mr.Strïnes' class later?" I let out a faint laugh. "That's what I was going to talk to you about..." Fate nodded while shoving food down her throat as in saying go on. "Ok, so we're doing a project over... uh... Your Partner, and my partner is... *cough cough* The new guy." Fate started laughing so hard, some people thought she was choking.

"Fate, calm down!" I demaned in a serious voice. She knew if I used that voice, she better shut up. "Ok, ok sorry, But, why him?" I sighed. "We're not allowed to pick our own partners this time. He doesn't trust us." Fate scoffed. "That's Bullshit." She protested. I saw her eyes glance behind me with a smirk on her face. I slowly turned around and saw... Matthew?! What the hell is he doing?! I quickly turned back around and shoved my face in my arms on the table.

He tapped on my shoulder. ~what a loser.~ "Excuse me. Can I speak with you for a second?" I rolled my eyes. "I don't know can you?" Why am I being mean to him? I like him... I think... UGH! Why is this so freaking complicated?! He shook his head. "I don't know. That's for you to find out." I sighed. "Ok, take me where ever your little heart desires." He laughed like I had just told him the funniest joke in the world. ~What the hell?~

He grabbed my hand and sat me down at a table with no one sitting there.~ok then...~

"You're my mate?" he asked staring into my eyes intencely. I tried to look away but his eyes still followed. "I guess... why, did you get the same message?" He nodded, then, he grabbed my hand,kissed it gently, then got up and went to class.

I was so paralized, when Fate walked up to me, I literally jumped and smacked her in the face. I covered my mouth with my hands and gasped. "Oh my God! Are you ok?" I asked putting my hand on her shoulder. She rubbed her cheek and sighed. "dafuq man?" I did a sarcastic laugh and took my hand off. "Sorry..."

*Matthews' POV*
*Sigh* She's so cute. I wonder if she likes me. will she reject me? I hit my head on my table and sighed. "Mr. Jennings. Can you please tell me what the square root of an isosceles triangle is?" Everyone stare at me as I totaly screwed up. "I-uh..." everyone laughed, except my mate. Shadow was her name, right?

I heard someone bang there hands on the table and I flinched like a wimp.

*Shadows' POV*
I banged my hands on my desk and stood up anger burning in my eyes. "You are all so rude! So what if he doesn't know the answer! I bet most of you don't either! So all of you just shut up!" I yelled then shoved myself back down in my seat and crossed my arms. Wow. I really just did that. the teacher stare in shock, then his shock grew into anger. "Go to the principles office at once young lady!" He shouted pointing at the door. Great. Just great. I rolled my eyes and slowly walked out of the room, a thousand eyes on me. "I'll go too!" I turned around to see him right behind me.

"What are you doing?" I whisper screamed. He smiled. "I'm going with you, anything wrong with that?" I smirked then covered my face with my hoodie. "No."
