🧬 Epilogue 🧬

Jungkook ran towards the palace's  Healer arena Tae within his arms screaming in pain . While one of Tae's hand clutching his belly tightly while his other hand his holding Jungkook . He placed Tae on the bed  who is still holding Jungkook's clothes  .

Soon 3-5 midwives came to attend Tae as they already did the preparation for the delivery. ( As they are in the snake realm so there is no chance for them to go to the human world hospital sooner ) . The serpent midwives told Jungkook to go outside . Jungkook went out leaving Tae there while Tae was looking at him with a pained expression.

The things  inside the room are thickened , the room is completely silent only Tae's heavy breathing sound is echoing in the four close walls  . Tae's water has already broken , his clothes are already soaked with that water .

" AHHH b..baby is coming ", Tae said to the serpent  midwife who hurriedly walked towards his bottom .

" Aaaaah ! Jungkook!!? It hurts ", Tae screamed loudly while looking at the door from where Jungkook just walked away , his voice echoed in the four walls . His body is aching from another strong contraction hit him . Sweats were dripping from his body . His body is glowing from sweat . But something is strange in his belly something is glowing on top of his belly . All serpent midwives are shocked , it is clearly showing serpent gem glowing with golden light in his belly

" hold on , my child ", one of the midwives whimpered against his ear calmly , she then placed a damp cloth on his forehead which the medicine is kept , while she kept other clothes on his exposed belly .

“Something’s wrong!” Tae gasped, tears streaming down his face. “I can feel it moving… it’s not normal— , the serpent gem is getting absorbed in my baby , I can feel it !” Tae said  while tears are getting down from his cheek .

Outside the chamber, Jungkook with others standing while getting worried sick , he is moving here and there getting more worried by hearing the sound of Tae screaming in pain.

"Let me in!" he finally growled, voice low and dangerous, eyes burning crimson. "He needs me." Jungkook said to jimin who is not allowing to go inside , jimin just shook his head .

" Jungkook please don't go , you will yourself get distracted, instead of calming Tae you will panic so don't go ", said jimin calmly . But Jungkook looked at the jimin with a worried  expression and then he sat down on the chair with gritting teeth and a clenched fist .

inside Tae suddenly screamed more loudly , his eyes are  glowing green instead of blue and red. His energy is draining from passing seconds . The midwives are shocked by looking at his eyes , their eyes widen .

“He’s... he’s not just giving birth. The gem—it's awakening something inside the child , " the midwives change the look between themselves.

From outside, Jungkook’s eyes snapped up, sensing the shift.

“Tae... I’m coming. I don’t care what they say.”

The room door cracked open and Jungkook rushed . He paused at the door with heavy breathing , he got tears in his eyes by looking at Tae's condition. Tae too looked at him and automatically had painful pout  came on his lips while tears were streaming down from his cheeks.

“Tae…” Jungkook whispered under his breath , rushing to his side.

Tae’s eyes fluttered open through the haze of pain and tears. “J-Jungkook… it hurts… I-I can’t— it's hurting so much .”

“No, baby,” Jungkook murmured, kneeling beside him and gently cupping his flushed, tear-streaked cheeks. “You’re doing so well. Look at me, just breathe. I’m right here, okay?”
