Suryeon was on the balcony of Logan's suite  taking in the sight of the city around her. 

Two years ago she had never expected her life would change ; discovering the truth of Woo Min's death , learning Hye In wasn't her daughter, Min Seol Ah , her desire to avenge the wrongs committed to her , teaming up with Logan falling for him , taking her death and now her current situation.

The people who had harmed her daughter , even her ex best friend Yoon Hee,  were now currently behind bars awaiting trial. All except for the evilest man who deserved the most punishment had someone found a way to sneak off.

Logan who had been watching her had noticed how on edge Suryeon had been the last couple of days. He held her hand reassuringly. "Cheon Seo Jin and the others are about to be summoned to  trial it's just a matter of days."

"Except for Dan Tae."

Suryeon was fidgeting with her hands. No one knew where Joo Dan Tae had escaped to and it had only made her unsettled and agitated the last few days. Knowing how unpredictable Dan Tae was he was most likely plotting something they would be lucky

"Logan. It's not over untill Dan Tae is caught."

"I know. My men are searching , he's even wanted on the news he cannot travel anywhere as a fugitive."

"But he's a slime ball ," Suryeon interjected unconvinced , "one who still has connections it wouldn't be impossible for him to smuggle out of the country."

Logan gently kissed her reassuring all the worries. Putting all his support into it

Suryeon felt herself dissolving into the kiss that it made forget her troubled mind set.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Rohan looked at his son worriedly. If anything he wanted him away from all this drama the arrest and court proceedings would bring on him. 

Rowoon stared out at the building of the institutional facility his mother was currently confined in. While he may not have had the best relationship with her , "She's still my Mom." He said.

"How about Yoon Cheol?"

Rowoon scoffed at that. "You're my only Dad. I've never seen Dr. Ha as my father especially after learning he tried to get rid of Seol's body. I don't care what state he is in right now."

Rohan smiled when he heard that. Rowoon wasn't a kid he could make his own decisions so best he could do was be with him right now.

The Baek father and son duo were not surprised when neither were met with embrace or warmth.

"You need to get me out Baek Rohan! YAH! I'm suffering in here!" Dohwa complained . "I was your wife for 20 years doesn't that count for something?"

Rohan looked at her completely unfazed by her behavior. Was she really expecting him to help her. "You really didn't see me as your husband when you decided to have a collection of lovers especially that affair you had with that bastard Ha Yoon Cheol."

"Oh . Are you still jealous he was better than you? Are you really holding that over me?"

"Dohwa. I did not come to fight with you ." His voice was monotone face completely expressionless. "our son wanted to speak to you."

Rowoon had grown up watching his parents arguing so this was nothing new. He took in the sight of his mom dressed in the green inmate jumpsuit. It was something he her never expected his extravagant fashonita to wear but it was a morbid fit for her.
