"SPLAT"

Cold froze over my face.

"Ughhh what the hell!" I yelled.

BOOM the door slammed behind the little devil known as my sister. I tried hard to pull my self from the most comfortable bed ever forcing myself to the bath room.

Drip Drop Splash the water poured out the faucet. The warm water felt so good on the coldness of  my face from what ever that little jerk put on me. I felt so angry having to get up to bull shi-

Boom Boom

My thought was interrupted by my little cousin yelling that I had to hurry up cause we were leaving to hang in front of his building.

I yelled "hold on man."

  I looked up at the mirror to only hate the day even more.

 My hair was so so curly and different natural browns and blonds everywhere I looked at my dark brown eyes wishing they were different but I could not help but love how my kinda tanned skin had a nice glow with the Summer sun. I got dressed fast after that I put on jean shorts and a white and black crop top and sandles.

 I walked out to see my uncle Enrique and aunt Sam doing my little cousin Bella's hair and sister Nina's hair while my other cousins Raul and Nathaniel just sat on the couch waiting for all of us to finish. After a few more minutes of waiting we made are way out side.

 Ooh how that summer air felt so good on me. All the younger ones started chasing each other around screaming. We played in front for awhile more until my uncle got a call. His eyes grew with joy as he talked. My mind grew curious as to who he was talking with. 

"Ok love u bro," he said hanging up quickly. 

He turned started speaking to my aunt she just nodded and yelled for us to let's go. I ran to them asking my theo what we were  going to do. He just smiled and said ya will see. 

The inner child came out of me I grew excited and acted like I had ants in my pants, not being able to sit still in the car. We pulled up to a house where theo parked and let us get out. I dont know why but I immediately started fixing myself as if i knew what was to come. Titi Sam knocked hard at the door and a unfamiliar voice yelled Im coming. The door opened a pretty woman was standing there she said hi to all of us. She said  her name was Ilene. She had a big welcoming smile on her face. She pointed up the stairs and said Mathew is up there.Once I realized what she said I got so hype I wanted to run up those stairs but I said hi and waited for her to lead us up to her home. We walked in and I saw my theo Mathew waiting there. Once we made eye contact he smiled and grabbed me  into a bear hug. He let me go and said hi and hugged everyone else. My eyes could not help but see a boy about my age sitting in the room just a few feet away from the house door. Ilene told me and Nathaniel to come and meet her son. She brought us to the boys room. He seemed to be too into his game to notice us walking in. Ilene called to him, he turned to us when she said 

"Say hi to Rosa and Nathaniel."

He said hi and turned right back around to his game acting as if we did not exist. Me and Nat walked out of the room after Ilene.

"Thats Ronnie my second oldest child."

 I turned and gave a small smile to her. She looked at me for a good sec before telling me I reminded her of her daughter Ashley . I chuckled a little. All the adult went to the kitchen and started talking. Me and Nat went back to Ronnie's room were he just kept playing I turned to Nat and whispered 

"This kid is mad rude."

He agreed.  We just started talking and started to have our own fun. Then we went back to Ronnie's room. When i asked him how old he was he said 17. He turned to us. Once he and  I made eye contact. I dont know but I just felt like something was happening inside me. I felt like my heart was going to jump out my chest.

 I looked a way fast turning my attention to his game. He continued to play. I felt upset that he did not say anything to me after that. I mean, I know I felt something he had to have felt something to or did he. My mind went a crazy trip with what all my thoughts for this one kid. I told myself to stop. Not only because I barely knew him but because I was older then him by a year and that was weird that. I was feeling things for a younger boy. I told myself anyways he probably would not like a girl like me anyways I mean just look at me.

 After what felt like forever in there house my uncle Enrique called us to say lets be out to. I said bye being all weird. After we all said by, Ilene said we will be there in a little bit. Titi Sam called behind her saying hopefully the food is done by the time ya come. I looked back at theo Mathew  telling him see you soon. He just smiled at me.

 When we got in the car I thought about Ronnie and why he did not wanna hang or get to know us. I thought about them coming over later what would I say to him. Or if he would even wanna talk to me at all. I thought about how he looked at me if i was cute to him at all i wanted desperately to know how he felt about me if he felt anything at all like I did when we made eye contact. My own thoughts made me so angry at him and myself. I tried hard to stop thinking but the same moment passed through me over and over, when we looked straight in each others eyes. At this point I was trying to make myself not wanna be around him. But deep down I felt something for him. As the car started I relieved myself of thoughts.
