The crime scene was like any other when Detective Michaels pulled up to the scene surrounded by cops and on lookers. He parked his cruiser across the street from when the suppose double murder took place late tonight.

The steam from the coffee he had in his hand became visible once he got out of his car and walked over to the scene where he was approached by his partner Detective Sandler who had a file in his hand. "So we have a double murder I suppose?" He spoke as he looked inside of the file revealing the man who was dead inside.

"Well I wish I could say that." Detective Sandler spoke nervously. Detective Michaels eyebrows shot up. "Wh- what do you mean, so we have a murder and an attempted murder?" He said.

Detective Michaels could believe it. "She's still breathing and all I tell ya'." Sandler replied. The two walked into the house where they saw body of the deceased male being covered up and ready to be taken away. Some how the deceased man looked so familiar. From the scar by his neck and piercing light brown eyes, it came to a realization that this was Marcus Reid with the street name he's know by as "Killa".

For the pass twenty years of his career, Michaels would've never thought of a drug lord like him would wind up dead in a house in the worse part of the neighbor. "Do you have any witnesses or anything yet?" Michaels said looking at Sanders.

"Well one witness said it was a female and a male but they couldn't see who they were but they got the tags of the car and it was a 2010 Mercedes Benz the got away in." Sanders explained.

The two walked away when Killa's body was being taken away. They walked further down to a bedroom with the tv still running and the lights on. The EMT's surrounded a unconscious female with a gunshot would to the neck and head.

She was slowly breathing, meaning she was still alive but not for long if they don't get her to the hospital as soon as possible. "Name?" Michaels asked.

"Kihry Anderson." Sanders spoke. He was walked to her and kneeled down checking her pulse. It still was beating as normal. "Well, she's nineteen, she graduated high school two years ago and lives here in Harlem."

"You think she could be Killa's girlfriend?" Sanders continued as he asked the question.

"Definitely." Michaels smiled.

He was more than happy that he had a witness who was on the verge of dying but still has a chance of survival. He wanted to get to the bottom of this but he already knew this was drug related. This could be the end, the end of his two year investigation of the notorious Rocky Cartel.
