A New Beginning

Chapter Two - Blue Silence

(y/n) shut her eyes tightly as she began to fall feeling that it was the end of her existence. She felt a tight grip around her wrist and she looked down and noticed she was not falling to her death. She was quickly lifted up and made it back safely onto the balcony.

"Thank you very much. I owe you my life." (y/n) said still rapidly breathing because of the panic she had.

She tried to see who had saved her but she could not since it was dark. The person's eyes where blue and she could see that they reflected the stars a lot. They seemed to be lifeless and full of sadness.

"Is there anyway I can repay you?" (y/n) asked but the person quickly left she quickly tried to follow but the hallway was too dark to see so she made her way to the party which seemed to still be going on. There where a bit less people since it was already midnight and many people where getting ready to leave as well.

(y/n) made her way down the stairs and looked to see if any of her friend's where taking a break from dancing but all of them where still at it. She sat down but eventually Francis sat down next to her. They talked for a bit about school and how Francis was going to become a culinary chef and stuff then he noticed a few drops of blood running down on the side of her cheek.

"Oh my. Mon ami come with me darling." He said grabbing her by the hand into the second living room. He grabbed a first aid kit and set it down next to her then he opened an alcoholic wipe. "This might hurt a bit but please bear with me." He said pressing the cold wipe onto her face. (y/n) fliched a little but then he got used to it after a bit. Francis finished by putting a rose bandaid on the cut. Then they made their way back to the party.

"You know mon ami, I can take care of you more in different situations if you became my girlfriend." He said winking with a smile.

(y/n) giggled. "I appreciate the offer but our ages are so different. Don't get me wrong your one of the nicest people I know and I'm sure any girl would be lucky to date you....but I'm sorry to say that I don't feel the same way." (y/n) said hanging her head a bit feeling bad for saying no.

Francis laughed. "Thank you." He said. "Part of the reason I wanted to date you was because you have seen me for an actual person and not a pervert like others say I am... You know what. From now on I appoint you as my little sister!" He said feeling really happy but a little sad from being rejected.

"Little sister?" (y/n) said.

"Yes exactly because no matter what I'm going to care about you and protect you like an older brother would protect his little sister. So from now on address me as big brother Francis." He said with a wink.

(Y/N) laughed and nodded. "Alright big brother Francis!" She said very happily.

"Care to join me for the last dance?" Francis said putting out his hand for her to hopefully take it.

"I would love to." (y/n) said taking his hand and they walked to the dance floor and waltzed the last dance. They laughed because of the many twirls they did and how they both almost kept tripping.

Eventually everyone left and all the maids and butlers cleaned up the mess as everyone who stayed in the mansion was getting ready for bed. The girls laid on their beds and they talked for a while about the guys that they danced with.

"Hey (y/n). Where did you go in the middle of the party? You were gone for a while and I began to get really worried. I was even about to stop the whole party and even send out search parties." Irunya said with curiosity.

"I just went out to get some fresh air. I went to the garden and was swinging on the swing. That's how I got this." (y/n) lied as she pointed at the band aid covered cut on her face. She did not want them to worry so she came up with the lie right on the spot.

Irunya sighed. "You had me extremely worried." Irunya said sighed in relief.

"I'm really sorry." (y/n) said.

"Don't worry about it." Irunya smiled. (y/n) nodded.

"Well everyone we should go to sleep now. It's getting really late now." Natalya said turning off the lights.

"Good night." Everyone said to each other.

(y/n) stayed up for a bit longer wondering who the person that saved her was. She knew that they had blue eyes but that was the only thing she knew about the person. She sighed and went to sleep feeling hopeless that she would never be able to repay her hero.

Morning came and everyone went to go have breakfast in the dining room. Alfred was already there waiting for the food to be done. One of his arm's was wrapped in bandages because of an accident that no one knew what exactly the accident was. Before he could actually move it a lot but know it seemed that he could barely move it at all.

After everyone finished their breakfast they all went to the garden to talk for a while except for Alfred of course. They talked about the school mostly and how different the uniform was and many other things about it that seemed to have Mathew, Irunya, and Elizabeta where nervous about high school.

(y/n) went back into the house and went to use the rest room. As she walked by the living room she heard a doctor saying something to Alfred and she could not help but to ease drop on what they were saying.

"I'm sorry Alfred." The doctor began to say. "I'm afraid that you are not going to be able to play sports for the rest of your life. The good news is that you'll be able to use it... You just won't be able to use it for sports."

"Alright. Thank you." Alfred said.

(Y/N) quickly left. Her eyes were darted open. She knew how much he loved to play sports and she could not believe what she just heard.
