JULIET CONTINUED TO RUN as fast as she possibly could. As she ran down Beacon Hills Preserve, the blonde turned and saw two little children behind her, their faces terrified. Filled with the fear that Juliet was trying her hardest to hide. She didn't dare to look beyond the children, she was still in disbelief she was being chased by a wolf.

Then suddenly, she realised.

Brightly glowing crimson eyes. Giant build. Not a wolf.

A werewolf.

Juliet ran faster, her legs burned, her breathing ragged. Sweat glistened her forehead and adrenaline pumped through her veins. Never in her life had she been so afraid.

Her fear was the only thing that kept her running.

"Up there" Juliet whispered, gesturing towards a shed. The children were not hesitant about following Juliet at all. In no time the blonde and the children made it to the shed, only a few meters away from the thing that was chasing them.

Juliet grabbed the handle and pushed it, revealing a small room, barely large enough for the three of them. Juliet ran into shed the children following her, she pushed herself against the corner of the shed, sinking into the wooden frame that was keeping them from the werewolf. Juliet shut the door as tightly as she could, securing the handles with a flimsy piece of rope that was lying on the ground. She silently hoped that it would be enough to keep the werewolf away. But she knew better, werewolves had superhuman strength, if it wanted to it could probably knock down the entire shed with a simple knock.

If the blonde happened to die, she hoped that her father would be blamed for it after all. It was mostly his fault that she was here in the forest being chased by the demon wolf. When Juliet's father returned home from work he received a text message informing him that his daughter had skipped her second day of school, of course the middle aged man was furious at his daughter. He ranted and ranted for about the whole night. So Juliet took off and wondered into Beacon Hills Preserve, it was peaceful at first, watching children play with fireflies. But obviously things took a turn for the worst, now Juliet and the two children were stuck in the shed, waiting for the sun to come up and for the dreadful full moon to be gone.

Juliet eyes scanned the room, looking for anything that could be used as a weapon against the werewolf if it found them. She sighed, the shed had to be empty. Just her luck.
She took a shaky breath. Her heart began to beat wildly out of her chest.

There was a huge shadow circling the shed, like a lion does before it attacks.

"It's going to get in" The little boy whispered, his eyes wide and scared. The little girl whimpered, her cheeks wet with tears.

Juliet stayed in her spot, remaining quiet. The blondes eyes follow the shadow, the colour drawn from her face as she tried to waited for the next move of the beast.

The beast put his eye through a small hole in the door, "Oh my god!" Juliet panicked, her hands fumbling, trying desperately to find some sort of weapon. The beast suddenly banged open the door, the moonlight shining into the room. Juliet and the children let out a scream. The blonde squeezed her eyes shut, holding her breath as she swung a piece of wood over her head. She felt the wood connect with the beast, it let out a ear-piercing roar and Juliet quickly opened her eyes.

"Run" Juliet yelled, the children obeyed without any hesitation whatsoever and Juliet followed, running as fast as she could. Juliet looked behind her and saw the beast was no longer behind them, Juliet sighed with relief. Finally, the beast was gone.
