I needed to escape from here, but how? Claire was looking for me and do not want to be killed, so soon. Claire then jumped out of the window too, landing safely on the grass. I moved backwards, then I fell into a hole. It wasn't very deep but it was just right to hide me away from Claire. Hearing the sound of rustling dried grass, I stop fidgeting , hopping that she won't find me.

Curiously, I peered through the big hole covering my mouth with my hand, seeing her dyed shoe about one centimeter away from me. I felt like screaming my lungs out now but I knew that I couldn't. The fear had invaded me already.

She then left, unknowingly. I slowly crept out of my hiding spot, trying my best to not make any sound. All I knew was that I needed to find the one. I put my leg back up, lifting myself up from the hole. After I stood back up, I ran away. On the pathway, people stared at me, but fortunately I saw Luna Vapton. She was a girl that I would describe a kind-hearted soul, an awesome friend and a real help. " Luna, Leo... he is... he is... dead." I stuttered while trying to catch my breath. " What are you talking about? Leo is definitely still alive. I just saw him in school today!" she sort of shouted.

" Okay, first things first. Why are you wounded?" " Claire, she... she cut me." I said. She gave me a are-you-serious look. From the look of her face, I could tell that she thinks I'm crazy. But that's just normal, really.

" Okay, you can tell me everything later. Come on, let's get you cleaned up first." Luna said. She invited me to her house. Everything seemed Victorian styled there, the color used, the way the designs are. I could see books stacked tidily upon the wooden shelf but yet from far they seemed like messy stacks of paper. The house was also penetrated with a light lavender perfume.

Luna took the first-aid kit and cleaned my wound, followed by pasting a plaster on it. " So, what happened?" she said in a soft yet soothing voice. Her hazel-brown eyes convinced me to tell her the truth but I knew that she wouldn't believe me. After I told her the whole incident, she seems to believe me. In my brain I was wondering, was she the one? I was pretty lost, I'm sure Luna too.

" Can... can I stay over tonight, after all that's happen I... think that I need someone whom I can confide in."

" Sure, why not. But phone your parents and tell them. Okay?" she said.

" Thanks very much, I... I hope that you believe what

She just knotted her head, approving what I had just said. I took her phone, and called my mom. " Mom, can I stay over at Luna's house today? I think now is the best time to talk to a friend so I was thinking if you'll allow?" I said sickly. " You sound sick, darling. Anyway, have fun with your friend. Remember to drink lots of water there, okay?" She replied.

Till dawn, Luna and I talked about Claire, discussing with one another what to do next.

" Well, what's the cause of her turning so, you know, evil."

" I... I don't know." I said as I mentally slapped myself wondering why didn't I think of that before. " I think it's the accident."

" What accident? Tell me, I want to know." she said, as her black hair snaked over her shoulders.

I told her every single detail I knew and I didn't regret it. Now, I had someone to share the burden with. The both of us needed to come up with a plan and fast, we both knew that we had to protect the next victim before Claire kills him or her. Think brain, think. I though to myself.
