For everyone who isn't too experienced with /You Fanfictions, "Y/N" means Your Name. :)

„She's dropping hints every single day Y/N." Camila said as she let herself fall down on the couch next to me. "I mean, you've been together for 3 years, it's not unrealistic to think about it."

I sighed and turned my head to look at her. "I know Camz, don't think I didn't notice it. To every single slow love song she hears, she reacts with: 'This would be such a beautiful wedding song!'. Tuesday it was All Of Me by John Legend, Wednesday she teared up while listening to If I Tremble by Front Porch Step and yesterday she worshipped I'm Yours by The Script."

Camila chuckled at my answer. "Whenever such a song comes on, Lauren and I always count the seconds until Ally says it again. The record is 5 seconds by the way." She remarked smirking at me. "But back to the main topic. Ally wants to marry you, but you don't want to marry her."

"No." I answered, shaking my head. "I do want to marry her. I'm just not a big fan of wedding parties but Ally is. She wants horses and pigeons and a castle as the location and a firework and she wants to invite so many people, I don't know if I can handle all of this."

I looked away from Camila and let my eyes wander through the room. "I mean we have enough money and I want to make the kind of wedding she always dreamed of happen in real life and god forbid I will refuse her anything. But all I want is to marry the love of my life. It shouldn't be about cake or horses or dresses, it should be about love and commitment. I just don't want a show made out of this emotional act." I admitted looking back at Camila.

"I know what you mean Y/N. But don't you think you'll be so focused on your bride that you won't even pay much attention to your surroundings? I know you're not comfortable being the centre of attention and that's mainly why you are so hesitant to finally ask her, but I think she'll be your centre of attention on your wedding day and you'll be hers and that's all that'll matter. As you said, it should be about love and commitment and that's how it'll be." She gave me a sympathetic smile before ruffling my hair. "Don't worry so much Y/N." She loves you and you love her and that's the only marriage requirement there is." Camila added before getting up and walking towards the door.

"Besides, you didn't even ask her to marry you yet, maybe you should start with that." She continued leaning against the door frame, making us both chuckle.

"Or we could try something new and celebrate the wedding before the engagement. Yes, let's do this!" I suggested trying to keep a serious face.

"You are such a dork, I can't believe Ally actually wants to keep you for the rest of her life." Camila said jokingly shaking her head in disbelief.

"Me neither." I admitted chuckling. Camila turned around once more to throw me a smile and a quiet 'Aww' before opening the door and stepping out into the adjacent room just to come back a few seconds later.

"Y/N! Why didn't you already start planning? I'm expecting the wedding invitation in less than a month! Hurry up!" She playfully scolded, which made me laugh.

"You're so annoying." I replied chuckling. "Love you too." She responded before sticking out her tongue at me and closing the door.

Thanks for reading the first chapter! :) Ally will definitely be in the next one.

Btw, if you don't already know the love songs I was referring to, you might want to check them out. :)
