I'd advise you to read the former chapter to avoid misunderstandings, I know it's been a while.

At Waffle House

Y/N's POV

C'mon Y/N, it's just a headache, you're gonna be fine, no need to worry the others so much. Conceal don't feel, don't let them know that it only got worse since you arrived at Waffle House and that smelling all the food makes you feel slightly sick. Just try not to focus on the pain too much, everyone has bad days, right? Don't be a drama qu-

„Y/N? What do you want to eat?"

My train of thoughts is suddenly interrupted by Ally nudging me slightly. I look up to find everyone staring at me expectantly with a hint of worry, including the waitress.

"Uhm, I-I'm sorry, I must have spaced out for a second, uhm, i- if you could just bring me a tea, that would be great, thank you." I tell the waitress, giving her a small smile. I honestly don't think eating something would be a good idea right now.

"Anything for you, cutie." she answers before leaving our table.

I feel Ally grabbing my hand tightly and moving closer to me, so I turn my head to look at her. She is staring right past me at the waitress who just took our order with a frown on her face. Weird.

"What's wrong, Als?" I ask, leaning forward a bit to push my head in her visual range. "Made the wrong order?" I jokingly add. She sighs before finally looking at me with a small smile. "I'm alright babe. What about you though? No breakfast for you?" I shake my head, regretting it right away, because of the pain suddenly hitting me again, making me grimace.

"You're still not feeling any better, huh?" she ask sympathetically, pushing a few strands of hair out of my face to feel my forehead.

"How about our driver will take you to the doctor's office right after he dropped us off at rehearsals?" Lauren suggests, making me look up at her and the other girls.

"Yeah, that's a good idea. I really don't want to see you suffer any longer, it's hard to watch honestly." Normani agrees.

"I really wanted to watch you guys rehearse though." I pout.

"Y/N, we're gonna rehearse every single day of this week, I think you'll get over missing out on one." Lauren argues.

"Babe please, be reasonable. You don't feel well and you need medical attention. Maybe the treatment won't even take that long and you can still come to rehearsals." Ally adds while caressing my cheek.

"Alright, fine." I give in, playfully rolling my eyes.

Just then the waitress came back with our orders, placing a cup of tea and five plates on the table. I grabbed the cup right away, hoping for the tea to make me feel a bit better.

"Enjoy your meal. If you change your mind and still want something to eat after your cup of tea, just call for me beautiful, I'll be right there". I subconsciously hear the waitress say as I was just about to take the first sip.

All of a sudden I feel a strong grip on my right thigh making me wince out of surprise, consequently spilling some of my tea on the table. I look to my right in confusion to see Ally clenching her jaw while angrily glaring at the waitress. What?

"Hey guys, what did we miss?" Camila asks, sitting down next to Lauren with Dinah following her and taking her seat next to Normani.

"Well, while you two were in the restroom, Y/N here spilled the tea." Normani states.

"Omg, no way! On what? Share the gossip!" Dinah excitedly exclaims, her eyes going wide.

"No Dinah, Y/N really just spilled her tea." Lauren chuckles, pointing at the wet spots in front of me.

"Oh..." Dinah mumbles disappointedly, causing everyone to break out into laughter.

On the car ride to rehearsals

I originally wanted to take a short nap on the car ride but neither my headache nor my thoughts were fine with that idea. What was it about the waitress that bothered Ally so much? I've barely seen her this furious and I've known her for 3 years.

"Als?" I quietly say, trying to get her attention. She stops looking out of the car window and turns to me, expecting me to continue talking. "What happened at Waffle House Ally? The thigh grabbing, the glaring? Why did the waitress bother you so much? She didn't get our orders wrong and was nothing but friendly. I-"

"She was more than just friendly Y/N. Especially when it came to you. " Ally huffs.

"What do you mean?" I frown at her, unsuccessfully trying to put the pieces together. Ally shakes her head in disbelief.

"You really didn't notice it, did you? Damn Y/N, she was flirting with you! Calling someone cutie or beautiful and winking at someone multiple times is not what I consider being friendly!"

I look at her in pure bewilderment. Wait what? When did the waitress even say or do that? Was I that busy trying to deal with my aching head that I didn't notice a single thing happening around me?

"She did all that?" I finally ask, looking into my girlfriends eyes. She just nods, staring right back at me.

I sigh and grab one of her hands, intertwining our fingers . "Listen Als, I'm so sorry. I swear I didn't notice her flirting with me. I don't know what exactly had my attention the whole time, maybe it was the pain I was trying to suppress or something like that, but it sure wasn't her." I explain.

Now it's Allys turn to sigh.

"Look, I'm not mad at you, alright? I believe you. But I'm - it just doesn't make sense to me how you never ever notice when someone is flirting with you. A girl could give you her number with a lipstick print on the paper she wrote it on and you'd still think she just wants to hang out and be friends. How can you not see this?" She asks, desperation in her voice.

"I don't know Ally. Maybe I'm an oblivious idiot. Maybe I'm dumb when it comes to flirting. Or maybe I don't feel confident enough to even think about someone liking me in that way. Damn Ally, even after 3 years with you I sometimes wake up thinking that I'm still dreaming when I see you peacefully sleeping in my arms because I just can't get my head around the fact that someone so beautiful inside and out loves and wants me. My heart knows it Ally, I swear it does, but my brain just can't get the hang of it. It still feels so surreal sometimes." I pour my heart out to her.

She's looking at me for a few seconds with a pair of watery eyes that must resemble mine, not saying a word, before placing both her hands on my cheeks and pulling me in for a kiss. Once I feel her warm lips on mine I immediately kiss back, pulling her closer to me.

She eventually breaks the kiss to look into my eyes. "I love you, Y/N." she whispers, her thumb caressing my cheek. "I love you so much Y/N and I'll tell you every single day. I'll tell you how much I love you until you finally believe it and then I'll still keep reminding you of my love. Every single day. Forevermore Y/N, I promise."

I can feel the tears running down my cheeks as Ally pulls me into a tight hug.

"I love you too Ally, so much." I mumble into her neck.

"I wish you could see yourself the way I see you. I wish you could see how much love you deserve. I wish you could see how easy it is to love you. I wish I could make you understand it all." she whispers softly.

"Me too, Ally. Me too." I answer quietly before closing my eyes and eventually falling asleep in her arms.

Hey guys, it's been a while but I'm finally back. I hope you like it, please leave a comment and tell me what you think and if there's something you would like to see happening within the next chapters. :)

(I just wanna clarify that Camila will still be in this story, even after everything that happened.)
