The night was one of the most terrifying night of all the times.There were flashes of lightning with horror shouts of thunder and disastrous rain..people were praying to God.Animals were all shivering with fear as they were also praying for God's mercy.
Suddenly there was a thunderous knock on the door of an old orphanage "MRS.SQUEEZER'S HOME FOR UNWANTED". The knock sounded more like a kick of lightning rather than just a knock.It was so hard that children started screaming and no one had the courage to move from their places.
Then an old lady came down from upstairs.She had white and pepper hair which was made into an awkward braid
She was very old with a lot of wrinkles on her face. She shouted with a screeching voice "no one should open the door. I know who it could be.. Its that old widow who live in nearby tent." After ordering not to check the door, the old lady said,turning back to her warm room "I have seen her little dumb home flowing away with water..she never had given any money to me" suddenly twisted her devilish words of greed,she said" I mean for orphanage..." Finally opening the door of her luxurious room she announced her life moto with a hideous laugh.."IN A SELFISH WORLD A SELFISH SUCCEED"
Everyone stood amazed on her cruelty.They were little children and it was better for them to listen that old women or they have to pay for that. But there was someone who hated refusing to help and stood against her selfishness. It was the young maid of orphanage,STIFFINY.She was very kindhearted and caring. As the lightning cracked in her ears,she rushed towards the door and opened it without thinking what the cost she will have to pay...
