Chapter 9: The attack

Grimmjow grinned, "Inner hollow, well Hichigo you might actually be stronger than that shinigami Ichigo." Hichigo narrowed his eyes at Grimmjow hoping that Ichigo wouldn't try to fight.

Ichigo stood there worried watching Hichigo fight. He heard someone come in. when he turned around he saw his father Issun standing there in a shinigami uniform."Don't worry I'll take over that fight. Hichigo will be fine." Issun stated climbing out the window.

Hichigo sensed someone coming and when he looked it was Issun. "I'll take this fight you just go back to Ichigo's room and stay hidden." Issun stated. Hichigo did as he was told and found Ichigo standing there relief on his face. He smirked and asked, 'Where you worried about me." Ichigo blushed and nodded while Hichigo walked up to him and led him out of the room. As soon as they entered the kitchen Yuzu asked if they were OK. "We're fine Yuzu, don't worry." Ichigo replied. Hichigo told him to sit down, Ichigo glared but he did what he was told. Hichigo stood next to him Zangetsu still on his back in case another arrancar shows up looking for a fight. Ten minutes later Ichigo looked down at his stomach and touched it curiously. "What's wrong?" Hichigo asked. Ichigo looked up and said, "Nothing, I thought I felt the baby kicking." Hichigo looked surprised and Yuzu immediately ran over and asked if she could feel. Ichigo nodded in response. "Wow, it is kicking." Yuzu said excitement clear in her voice. Hichigo put his hand on Ichigo's stomach curiously and jumped hen he felt something press against his hand. Karin walked up and stated, "Goat chin will have to do an ultrasound later." Ichigo nodded in reply and looked at Hichigo.

Swords clashed as Issun fought Grimmjow, but he was holding back so he could gauge the arrancar's power. "What are you holdn' back for?" Grimmjow asked. Issun smirked and answered, "I'm just trying to think of a way to beat you." The arrancar smirked before firing a cero at Issun. He used flash step to dodge it and cut Grimmjow.

At the park Toshiro and the other shinigami were fighting a powerful Arrancar called Luppi who had just released his zanpakutou, Trepadora. Toshiro was easily defeated and Rangiku, Ikkaku, and Yumichika were being strangled before Toshiro froze all of his tentacles and explaining that as long as there is water around his bankai it can heal itself. Then he trapped Luppi in sennen hyoro. Then a negation surrounded Luppi shattering the ice bringing him back to hueco mundo.

During Issun's fight with Grimmjow, Ulquiorra appeared stopping the fight and a negation appeared. "I hope Ichigo is all right." Issun stated.

When he entered the kitchen he heard that the baby had kicked. "Really well let see how much it's developed!" Issun stated excitedly.

The ultrasound gave everyone a shock it turned out that Ichigo was going to have triplets. "Just great, that is going to be painful." Ichigo stated. "Well, we might need to keep this a secret. If Aizen finds out we could have a problem." Hichigo stated looking at the computer.
