Its eight, how come no one is here? Well I guess Ill come back tomorrow. The next day I go to school in hopes that everyone was there. No one is here again? What’s going on, I’m starting to get worried. If no one is here tomorrow then I will go look for them. I made a portal and went back to where all the beautiful ice was. I wish I could make the more advanced portals like my Master so I could go back home for a while.

I go to school and everyone is there. I look for Ashley. “Ashley, where were you? And everyone else?” I asked worryingly. “It was the weekend.” She simply states. “Weekend..?” I ask as Kendra walks up. “Yeah, did you have school everyday where you were? ” She asks. “Y-yes.” I say hoping  it’s not to weird. *RING* “Time for class.” Kendra says. “Don’t you think that’s a little weird.” She says. “What do you mean?” Ashley asks. “I mean she’s not normal, she’s hiding something, and I’m going to find out what it is.” She says mischievously. ”Well have fun, I don’t want to ruin a new friendship. I don’t want any part of what your doing.” Ashley states. “Fine.” Kendra says firmly as she walks away to her class.

After school I go find Ashley. I need to talk to her. “Hey Lyanna.” She says warmly. “I have to tell you something.” I say. “What is it?” She questions. “I have to have complete trust in you though.” I say. “You can trust me, don’t worry.” She says. I wait a second and take a deep breath. “I heard Kendra, and she’s right. I’m not normal.” I say looking down.  “Oh, I’m sorry for what she said I-” I interrupt her. “No I am different.” I say loudly. “But its okay to be different, your not from here.” she says trying to be nice. “That’s right, I’m not.” I take another deep breath as I know that I’m about to tell her everything. “I’m not human.”

“W-what?”  She asks in shock. “You don’t mean tha-” I cut her off again. “Yes I do, ..I’m from another planet.” I say. “I have time to talk so explain this to me.” She says not sure to believe me. “Okay, well I was created by my Master, and although we look human, were not. We have powers.” I tell her. “We?” she asks. “Yes, I have one friend; Oscar.” I state. “So its just the three of you?” She asks. “Yes.” I say simply.

“What about you powers? What can you do?” She slowly asked afraid of the answer. “Well watch.” I look around and every one left. I put my hand up and blackness poured out of my hand as if my hand were a faucet. I did a few hand motions and the darkness stopped and  was just floating around. “Whoa, that’s amazing.” I jump and make it vanish not expecting her to respond. “Yes, I can also make portals but I cant go to far with them.”

“What about your friend Oscar?” She questions. “He has the power of wind he can do the same thing as I did but with air and he can also fly. “Wow, that’s really cool.” She says in amazement. “Yes, we would practice everyday until our Master said its time to relax, then we would just have fun and mess with each other.” I say happily. “So why did you come here?” She asks. “My Master told me to but I’m not sure why.”

“So if your not from here, where do you go at night?” She questions. “Night? You mean when it gets dark? I go to the where all that ice is.” I tell her. “Ice? Oh, you mean the north pole?” She asks. “I guess so.” I say. “Wait you sleep there?!” She asks in shock. “Sleep..?” I question. “Oh, you don’t know what that is?” I shake my head. “Well at night everyone ..rests up for the next day, like a break from school.” She says. “Hmm, that makes sense.” I say as I keep thinking about it.

“I don’t understand.” I say thinking real hard. “Understand what? Sleep?” She asks. “No, school, when do I come and when don’t I? I ask in wonder. “Because I came yesterday and the day before and no one was here.” I say. “Well, here.” she takes out a piece of paper and a pen and writes something down then hands it to me. “These are the days of the week, and today is Monday. We go to school from today until Friday, on Saturday and Sunday, which we call the weekend, we stay home. If there are any other days off that aren’t just the weekend, then I will tell you.” She explains. “Oh, okay.” I say. “Do you understand now?”  She asks me. “Yes.”

“I have another question.” She says. “What may that be?” I ask. “Why do you always talk so formal? You can say ‘yeah’ instead of ‘yes’ when you talk to me. Were friends.” She says warmly. “Well, I am used to it, my Master wants us to be formal to him or its disrespectful, but Oscar still talks normal to me.” I say with a little laughter. “One more thing?” She asks as I look up. “Do you think your Master is good or bad.” She asks bluntly. “I don’t know.”
